in the past whenever other teams say how dirty brown is i use to be able to say how he has never been suspended. I think he crossed the line tonight. Hopefully doesn't miss any playoff games. normally i would think 3 games.
If he did get suspended, it wouldn't make him a dirty player.

I saw a Minnesota team that played the trap in the third. I don't think the kings played well at all tonight. Horrible passing and no energy for 60 minutes.

Man it's a trip how all the Wild fans are crying over Brown's hit. They're taking all of Brown's hits from the playoffs and calling them dirty. It seems logic and reason are non-existent in the main board.

Browns knee in the playoff's was worse than that elbow.

Brown is not even looking at Pomm.

The worst part of this game was watching on wild's feed, such a bunch of homers

They are just mad cause Pomm is an important player they traded for, it would suck if he missed the playoff's .

Also would be a big blow to the Wild.

I don't care for the Kings offense, they dump and chase to much and rarely have anyone in front of the net.. Kings passing sucks.

It felt like they are just coasting to the playoffs. Like, it's not an "important" game, so let's just cruise.

Ah well. Next!

Kopitar needs to become the catalyst can't make plays if the other two are sucking it's time to drive to the middle go solo and get the momentum going. Can't keep going perimeter the whole time hoping brown or williams net it in for you.

The whole team outside of Carter was bad. There was barely any sustained pressure in the offensive zone. That said, we can blame Richards, Williams, and Kopi, but can the other guys please start stepping up and scoring when those guys aren't on their A game? Richards and Carter basically have a two man line in most games. The first line produces of course. But what happens when these guys have a bad game? We're doomed.

It seems like carter is the only one ever gets the puck in the slot. Everyone else seems to be more concerned with "supporting" the puck along the boards. When the kings do get the puck, they have no one to pass too except the defensemen at the point. Then they have no one screening for the shot from the point.

The kings needs to trust each other in the offensive zone and stop sending everyone along the boards. The kings used to keep a forward up high in the slot, but they seem to favor the boards more this season. The pp has helped increase their overall offensive numbers this season.

King needs to play in front of the net much more. He seems to float as much as Penner right now.

Meh, the kings just don't have enough to play for right now. I don't think getting fourth is that big of a deal to them.

Two more games before the playoffs. Go kings!

I'm having flashbacks of blowing seeding the last couple games of the season again...

Worked out last year, but starting on the road against San Jose is a recipe for disaster. I hope Sutter lets them know an effort like tonight is unacceptable.

The Kings looked like a team that let go of the gas now that they're in the playoffs. They did this last year as well, only then we had a pretty decent road record.

Kings are going to need some help from the Stars tonight and have to take matters into their own hands the next two games. The Wings and Sharks are going to be playing some desperate hockey on Wednesday and Saturday. Let's crush their hopes!

Sutter was audibly angry in the locker room. Take that for what it's worth.

The kings have had bad road efforts for a while now. Not sure Sutter can do anything about it. He made playing home their priority this season.

Feels like the team just feels like they can turn it on for the playoffs because they won last season. That seems to be the downfall of most defending champs. A first round loss wouldn't feel like an upset to me.

Kings are still very young and will have a few more chances for another cup. It's not like their window is closing.

I was hoping he would be. That was just unacceptable out there tonight.

Where'd you hear/see he was upset?

Going to count it again, but last year the Kings ended the season like 3-2-5.

Not exactly great.

Anyone want to explain the change up in lines for me? I can't think of the right gif to explain the look on my face when I turn on the TV and see 71-11-77 8-7

Patrick O' Neal said something to the effect of "We're just a couple steps from an open locker room and coach doesn't sound too happy."

Nothing was really working in the first two periods so Sutter started mixing lines up. The Kings also weren't fairing very well with Minnesota's line matchups, so Sutter mixing it up kind of woke the Kings up and kind of threw the Wild off in the 3rd period.

When the team doesn't show up, you do something, anything.
