You can say the Kings need to play like their playoff lives are on the line but lets face it, that's not happening. These guys went 10-1 on the road in the playoffs. I imagine they could give a crap about home ice and there is no way they are going to match MINs intensity. Whatever. On to tomorrow where I fully expect the Kings to lay an egg playing their 3rd in 4. **** this schedule.

Wild wreaked of desperation in the first, Kings looked and played on cruise control. The high stick disallowed goal seemed like they were just "showing off." Even the Cater goal looked like they didn't care about it.
I actually felt sick watching These Kings play.
Besides the lack of effort, I'm seeing a dangerous trend of the inability to get out of our zone cleanly. Teams are pinching down the boards hard, but we stay along the boards no matter what! Let's break out towards the middle every now and then and maybe leak a forward once or twice to keep the opponents forechecking and D honest. Too predictable!
Sutter isn't worried about the hit. Helene thinks he will get a game or 2. Roenick thinks there will be a suspension.
Roenick is a buffoon. He thought that the Flyers' Harry Zolnierczyk wouldn't get suspended for his hit. Of course he ends up with a four-game suspension. I wouldn't pay any mind to what that fool JR has to say.
