Just the other day, I lost a hard-fought game in Be A GM by a 1-0 score. The only weird thing is, It showed up as a 3-2 win on my record. Too bad it was only the preseason.

Played my 1st game as a goalie in a drop-in game.
19 save shutout on a 6v6 game.

Never playing goalie again, going to retire with perfect stats.

The time it takes to change guys in action is frustrating. Always to late to react by the time you get control

so the 2nd best feeling in this game (after a GM Connected playoffs game 7 going into OT of course) is facing someone using the Pens online (post deadline) and having them quit out because you're owning them.

Here is the order of satisfaction I get from beating various types of people:

1. People who do things to annoy you the whole game - i.e. teabagging, showing every replay, dragging the puck. Luckily these people are usually quite easy to beat. Once you show you know how to forecheck and pressure him, he usually gets flustered and the game ends up being a battle of actual skill instead of playing keep away from the CPU.

2. People who aren't confident enough in their own skills that they have to pick one of the powerhouse teams in the game (Canucks, Kings, Hawks, Pens). I don't mind if that's their "favourite team," but if I see them debating who to pick and they pick one of those teams I try extra hard to beat them.

3. People who try to dangle the whole game and go for only one type of goal. I do respect good RS skills so I don't mind this too much but it's still rewarding when you beat them.

I like when people pick the All Star teams. I enjoy beating them with a random OHL team or Japan.

Lost a game in EASHL last night playing 2s, we lost 6-0... 5 of their goals came from the same guy who skated in a straight path from his zone into ours with our computer defense skating straight up to him, then stopping either completely missing him or just plain getting beat, and he blows by them to do the same move on the goalie every single time.

Help.

Guys have learnt how to beat the AI too easily. You need a human D and/or goalie who knows how to stop these guys.

Just did a playoff sim..

Conference finals ended up as Capitals-Bruins and Ducks-Sharks.

Capitals and Sharks both won in 7 games, making it a Washington vs San Jose finals.

The Sharks won the Cup in 6 games, led by Marleau (22 points), Gomez (10 goals), and Demers (14 assists).

I guess there isn't a choking factor in NHL 13.

The biggest shock to me was Gomez having that many goals

Anyone notice how horrible the penalties are dished out in this game in offline BAP? Just finished a game where the CPU had 9 PP and my team had 2. Insane. I have the sliders set pretty low for penalties on both sides too. It was stupid.

Question...

I'm playing BAP mode as an OFD, and I was drafted first overall by the Devils, immediately entered in the NHL. I won the stanley cup in my rookie season and won the Conn Smythe. Then I started to simulate the next season, I was going to simulate all the way through my contract to be on a different team, but I got sent down to Albany.
So, can I play my way back into the NHL and have to clear waivers? I really don't want to play on the Devils anymore, my game retired Brodeur and Hedberg now starts.

EDIT: This may matter, I'm actually playing NHL 12. I just posted it here so somebody would actually see it.

Well, finally traded in my copy of NHL 13, so it's time to say farewell. And if anyone wants some custom music to freshen up their game, here's a link to my generic Break in Play music pack with a song list. Hope you find something you like: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...-bip-pack.html

In the meantime, I'll be playing some of this instead: http://pixelpuck.com/?p=2901

Goalies need some serious fixing.

My goalie is ALWAYS terrible, and ALWAYS has a terrible SV %, yet the opposing goalie is making ridiculous save after ridiculous save. It literally makes no sense.

Otherwise, I quite enjoy this game, more so than any of NHL 10-NHL 12.

15 shots against, 58 shots for.

5-5 tie.

I just outshot someone 30-11 and lost 4-3. Every goal against was horrendous. Online versus play drives me absolutely nuts.
