Weinhandl a top 6 forward in Minni?

Is there any chances Weinhandl starts the season on a line with Gaborik and/or Demitra? The guy was excellent in the SEL league when playing with Forsberg (best scorer of the league in fact) and would probably play well with Demitra centering him. I also know he played some shifts with Gaborik last season... Do you think Weinhandl could be a top 6 forward this season? That means playing more than White, Foy, Radivojevic and Koivu?

I see are top 6 as something like this

Gaborik Demitra Parrish
Rolston White Bouchard

Weiny should be on the 4th or third playing with Koivu and one of the rookies.

its all about chemistry imo, Weinhandl played well last year with Gaborik, so it wouldnt surprise me if he played with him and Demitra.

Easy, tiger. Weinhandl is a CANDIDATE for top 6 minutes, depending on how well he plays. We have a top 6 that's pretty much set for now- Gabby, Rolston, Demitra, Bouchard, Parrish, and White. Then we have players who will fight for top 6 minutes if one of those guys struggles/injured, and Weinhandl is one of them. It's a pretty normal situation, I would say.

And that´s why I said IF. Fact is that if he´s a top six guy then there is something wrong with your team because he just isn´t that good.

The guy is an excellent 2-way forward. It's just that he's been stuck on the 4th line and averaging 3 min of ice time on a crap team(Isles)...

Easy Wild Boy....I wouldn't be throwing around the "crap" tag around so freely considering that the Wild have made a living creating their line up with other teams scraps.

White being on the 2nd line is more of a chemistry thing than anything else.

I'd rank White 5th or 6th (with Bouchard)

I agree with you. Weinhandl definitely has the potential to be a real good player. I think he will wind up being a top six forward in Minnesota. He has good talent and is a hard worker. If he is put out there with Gaborik and they click, he could put up a nice amount of points and I think he could also play a two way game.

Beyond their first line, Minny isn't as solid as I though they were..

You fans confident in securing a playoff spot? I'd like to hear your expectations.

bouchard and rolston will man a 2nd line...

thats MORE THEN SOLID....

those 2 are crazy good together and todd white can get 50 pts on that line.

Wild have a very good top 2 lines.
