More recently, some of the same stuff you mentioned... Roger Waters (Dark Side and The Wall), Robert Plant, U2, The Who, Eric Clapton. I do remember seeing Sepultura and Helmet open for Ministry at Maple Leaf Gardens many many years ago. Some crazy **** there. Saw Dylan opening for Paul Simon too. Simon was great. and Ice T at the Trasheteria in Guelph, Ontario! When you're treated to a good show, the live experience is truly awesome. Like a good Jets game.

Being there >>> TV
The list is much longer than I posted. I used to worth event security in the pit for many many more. Was always a good time! Powerballs were usually the craziest crowd of crowd surfers.

Totally agree with your bolded statement, seeing live concerts is awesome.

I remember the concerts that Power 97 used to put on for like 20 bucks. Those were epic.

The Who, Winnipeg Arena, October 1976.

Keith Moon (in long johns), Tommy setlist, "Won't Get Fooled Again", etc.

Too bad Winnipeg didn't treat them to a real "True North" crowd experience, though.

Another memorable concert...

Elvis Costello and the Attractions, Playhouse Theatre, November 1978.

"Alison", "Watching the Detectives", etc. A sensation. (check out "Live at Hollywood High" to get a feel for Costello in concert in that era).

After the concert Costello reportedly jammed with "The Fuse" at the St. Vital Hotel.

.... and if you like another style.

July 1978

The Eagles, Steve Miller Band and Jesse Winchester at Assiniboia Downs oval (huge concert, rush seating).

"Hotel California", "Fly Like and Eagle", etc.

Poor Paul don't sound so good after his vocal cord surgery awhile back! But then again what performer actually really does sing doing a concert any more.

I've always missed out on the Stones, so I would love that. I saw Paul in the old stadium, but I was never really a fan aside from a couple of songs.

Can someone who received the pre-order code post it here, similar to what was done for the UFC event.
Thanks.

Wasn't sure of etiquette of posting it, so I sent it to you in a PM.
