Wasnt really sure where to put this so Im putting here. But I need your guys expert opinions on this since Im having a tough time making a decision. Im in my fantasy playoffs and cant decide which goalie to sit tonight. Elliott vs PHX, Bobrovsky vs LA, or Nabokov vs TOR. Im leaning towards sitting Nabokov but since Bob played last night night and LA is pretty good, I cant make up my mind

Nabokov. Bob is just a sure pick any game, and well Elliott is just how you are feeling he is going to play tonight lol.

I went to bed last night with about 10 minutes left in the SJ/DAL game and woke up to find out that SJ came back and won in regulation. They were down 2-1 at that point. With about 5 minutes left they scored 2 goals, 30 seconds apart to win 3-2.

That makes things very interesting. LA and SJ are currently tied in points (LA has the tiebreaker) with 2 games remaining, and the very last game of the season is SJ at LA. That game could decide who gets home ice, and SJ is a much better team at home (17-2-5).

Also, I was hoping Detroit would lose out and CBUS would squeak in, but now I think I'm going to have to pull for the wings to beat LA tonight. If LA loses out, the blues could squeak into a 4-5 matchup against the sharks and possibly grab home ice. Although, like I mentioned, the sharks are really good at home, so it's a "be careful what you wish for" situation...

Edit: San Jose has to fly into Phoenix to play tonight as well, so we will have a better understanding of how things could play out, after tonight.

Im torn... The possibility of home ice or DET missing the playoffs... I think I may have to root for DET. ******* me. I really want them to miss the playoffs, keeping the Blues record safe.

The 4-5-6 seeding is really interesting right now. The loss in Col looms large.

That's why I'm not rooting, just letting it happen and enjoying the game. I don't want to get worked up over games that aren't ours, ones out of the Blues control.

The Wings beat The Kings 3-1. Now, we have to hope Phoenix beats The Sharks in a shootout, and The Sharks beat The Kings, while The Blues beat The Flames and The resting Hawks.

I'd like to see The Blues vs. The Sharks, with The Blues having the home-Ice advantage.

LA lost to Detroit. I think the Wings will grab the 8th spot.

I'll be rooting for SJ tonight and in their final game. As long as they stay above the Blues, we'll avoid LA, correct?

How odd that last season, it came down to SJ/LA in the final game of the season to determine the Blues' opponent. Had LA won that game, we'd have faced them in the first round. It looks like their game will determine the Blues' opponent again this year, whether it be who gets 4/5 or both teams keeping the Blues in 6th.

This is good. If the Blues and Sharks can take care of their own business and each win these next 2 games, we face each other and avoid LA.

The Sharks will be ahead of The Kings (59-57) even if they lose to Phoenix, tonight. IF The Sharks beat The Kings, The Blues will get 4th, if The Sharks lose to The 'Yotes in regulation or OT, or SO. I think I have to root for The Blues to win both their remaining games, rather than assume they'll lose one, and root for The Sharks to win both their games.

I'd rather hope The Blues play well going into the playoffs, and win most of their key games, and also end up with home ice advantage over The Sharks (as the latter were 17-2 at home, and had a terrible road record for a playoff team).

Phoenix leads San Jose 2-0 after The 1st. I won't mind if The Sharks tie it up and lose in OT. But I can't root for them to win both games and pass the Blues with 61 points, even if The Blues win both of their games and finish with 60. Better to be positive. I don'[t want the Blues giving a 17-2 home record team home ice advantage just to avoid The Kings.

Saturday is going to be pretty exciting, with several games having seeding ramifications. Blues have to take care of Calgary first. Hopefully after getting embarrassed last time against them, and with J-Bo involved, the team will be highly focused.

If SJ loses tonight, Blues are in the drivers seat for fourth. I have decided that I no longer care about facing LA. They're beatable.

SJ scores. 2-1 PHO. Ill take 5th too. Im not worried about SJ's home record. Means nothing. That is a pretty weak 4 seed. 17 row...

The Kings win the tiebreaker vs. The Sharks, so, we need The Sharks to get 1 point (but not 2) vs. Phoenix, tonight.

But, to be honest, I don't have a lot of confidence that The Sharks will beat L.A. IN L.A.

The Sharks getting a point tonight wouldn't really change anything from our perspective.

Phoenix beat The Sharks. So, now The Blues are in the driver's seat for home ice in the playoffs. They just need to win their last 2 games. IF The Sharks beat The Dustin Brownless Kings (in L.A.), The Blues will have home ice vs. The Sharks. If The Kings win, The Blues will have home ice vs. Kings. I'll take either (but rather face The Sharks).

4 points means we are 4th seed and face the winner of the Kings-Sharks on Saturday night.
3 points means we will either be 5th seeds against LA or 4th seeds against San Jose.
2 points means we are 5th seeds, unless San Jose defeats LA in OT/SO which will push us down to 6th seed against the Canucks.
1 point could see us as 5th, 6th or 7th seed.
0 points and we're 6th or 7th seed.

Good that the Kings-Sharks starts right after our game on Saturday night. Not bothered in the slightest who we get, but it will be nice to have that preview knowing exactly that we'll be facing one.

Will the Hawks rest Toews and Kane the final game?
