He was too straight on and too close to the goal. With his proximity to the net had he tried to sell the backhander he wouldn't have been able to get that pass off as Kane was in front of him. It wasn't that great as it was anyway. The positioning simply was not very good for that pass. He needed to shoot it.

Anyone else love that "don't stop the party" song? Damn that's catchy.

The offensive pressure has been very good from that line tonight. If we can finally stay healthy we should roll with it in the POs.

He made absolutely the right play. He just didn't sell his move enough. Kane alone at the side of the net is 98% of the time a goal.

Me neither. Series would be a complete toss up and Babcock is great at ******** down Toews and Kane.

Seriously. You see Kane in that spot, you get him the puck.

Drew LeBlanc on that first goal....doh!

He has been much better since but still out of position on occasion. Looks like he can keep up out there, though. Should be an interesting piece going forward if they can re-sign him.

Oilers are not going to become a good team with the awful defensive lapses they have. That team gives up so many breakaways and odd man rushes it's embarrassing.

It's the Oilers, but Handzus does look good between Sharp and Kane.

It's bad enough that certain political groups are going after sports teams with native American mascots (North Dakota ex-Fighting Sioux come to mind?), if they did something like that they would never hear the end of it. Somehow the Blackhawks have not gotten the same hate that the Cleveland Indians and Washington Redskins have gotten from those groups.

Leblanc between bickell and Stalberg leads me to believe Bolland is going there for the playoffs

Oduya has scored at least one other goal this year from that same spot. Both just under the bar too and I think both were on a nice feed from Kane.
