Hail to the Chiefs! - Blackhawks clinch Presidents' Trophy

Down goes Edmonton, Sharp's okay, LeBlanc got better in the third in a big way, and home ice is secured throughout the playoffs.

This team is suck. LeBlah was very blah. Oduya didn't actually score. Sharp died.

Funnily enough if Crawford had allowed a goal he'd have gotten the win tonight, but because he didn't Kane's goal is the game winner and the win goes to the goalie on the ice at the time: Ray Emery.

Good effort all around. Granted, it was the Oilers, but still a good game. : D Glad Sharp is back.

NHL.com gave Kane an assist on Sharps empty net goal. 3 point game for Kane. Not baddddd

Great game all around. Puck possession, good defense, and a teensy bit of physicality. Let's hope the President's Trophy isn't the only trophy the Hawks get this season.

This is the dumbest rule in hockey. In baseball the discretion is left to the official scorekeeper in similar situations. Most of the time it doesn't take rocket science to figure out who deserves the win. Tonight it should have been Crawford's.

We will sign both Leddy and Crawford. With the way Leblanc was playing in the third period, it isn't a big stretch to see him as our potential second line center.

He's still hanging around the points lead race, right?

Third period he looked pretty good. Made some very good passes and generally made the correct play. Definitely worth a look next year.

St. Louis is 4 points ahead right now, gonna be hard to make up that deficit.

That was more a product of Edmonton being the softest team in the league. It's unbelievable how physical they make us, one of the least physical teams in the league, look by comparison.

Saad should have had about 3 goals tonight. Several elite scoring chances and just as many near misses. He was a beast out there.
