Yes I am surprised people considered 2006 good at all. 2K6 was a much better game (not just my opinion, but all video game reviewers and fans). 2006 felt so unrealistic it was not even funny. Although 2K6 had cheap goals, atleast you could score on a real scoring play (i.e. breakaway, 2 on 1, one timer). 2006 was much more unrealistic with scoring attempts, the goalie would be able to make crazy unrealistic saves.

Plus 2k6 had much better online play, which makes the game in the end.

Either way, both games are not polished enough, EA and 2K sports don't really give a **** about their hockey games. Their football games are much more polished and more to real life than their hockey counterparts.

I found that 2K6 had better gameplay thna NHL06. But like I said, if you get the chance to play NHL07 on the 360, not the other consoles or PC's, you will be pleasantly surprised.

We could probably debate this for days. You have your opinion just like I have mine. I suggest you try the game before writing it off. Becasue this year NHL07 does win it over 2K7 on the Xbox 360.

I wish EA upgraded NHL 2007 for PC, PS2 and Xbox so that it the same version as the Xbox 360. For the 360, NHL 07 looks sweeeeeeeeeet. For the other consoles, 2007 is just 2006 with minor fixes and upgrades.

You are correct. The reason that they did not make it for the other consoles is because they could not support the engine (aside from PC).

The first reviews for both games (on the 360) says 2K7 is a really bad game, while 07 is pretty good. It seems that the controls in 07 are great, and because of it the gameplay is much more realistic than before. But that AI is stupid and the physics took a step backwards compared to last year. As for the PC and PS2 version, it should suck as last year's game...

I'll be getting 2K7 for my PS2... and here's why! Because of the price (I've been off work for 5 weeks and am waiting on a csst judgement on my claim) and I can't afford to buy a Xbox 360. So, I'll go with the cheaper of the two, despite 2K6's craptastic crashing abillities... they do offer the option to have a farm team and I'm not sure 2007 does that?!??!

When does 2K7 come out in Canada and who's on the box art?

It is but that is what makes it so fun. It is finally challenging.

But you'll get used to it.

I prefer 07 because the way we play the game is better with the great graphics. but 2K7 is cheaper by a fair margin

I'll probably go with EA, but I'm still not sure...

or maybe buy EA for my computer and 2K for my ps2
Problem problem.

NHL07 is an xbox360 exclusivity, all the other platforms 07 are in fact 06 with new rosters. I believe NHL07 on the Xbox360 will be the game this year
