Yes, for Reading as a matter of fact. Reading has a pretty good fan base and arena, used to play pickup with the GM till I got PCS. It would be pretty cool if Reading got the ECHL flyers affiliation and Allentown got the AHL. Basically the same setup at the phillies. Not to mention sets up a great rivalry with hershey.

Through two periods in the Plymouth/London game and Stolarz has 31 saves on 35 shots. London is getting outplayed badly, but he is keeping them in it.

Hope when you say shelled you mean the shots he faced not the 4 goals he allowed he kept London in the game and he can't stop everything.

Plymouth's starter Alex Nedeljkovic (another rookie Goaltender) didn't fair too well. He got pulled after giving up 4 goals on 11 shots.

Blainville-Boisbriand won 4-3 tonight over Baie-Comeau. Series now tied up at 2-2. A bench clearing brawl broke out at the end of the game.

at :37 you can see him tied up with another guy at about 5 o'clock at the center-ice circle. then at the :59 mark, he's at the center-ice dot with the same guy and they seem to be beginning to fight. at 1:10 he's taken the guy down to the ice and they stay there for a bit. at 1:43 they're both up and drinking it all in. at 3:30 you see him leave the ice

this was pretty weak brawl to be honest. they all look like a bunch of greasy kris letang's slapping each other with their gloves on, aside from a few

and you wonder why there's no respect in the NHL with these young guys coming into the league. Those players from Armada start acting like idiots at the end of the game. no wonder a brawl broke out

Connor Mcdavid tearing it up in the U18 for Canada. He is two years younger than some players and is flat out dominating them.

Those are reports from twitter and not me actually viewing it, but it doesn't come as a surprise.

His counter-part for the 2015 draft Jack Eichel is having a good tournament for the US as well.

66 points in 63 games in the OHL as a 16 year old is ****ing absurd. I have a feeling the kid may even throw up 100+ EASILY before he's drafted.

I'd be totally cool with deploying the super tank for 14/15 if it meant that we could get to draft McDavid.

Speaking of Eichel, was there any possibility of him getting EPS instead of committing to Boston U, which is obviously still years off for him?

Does the CHL only grant Canadian players EPS?

McDavid isn't eligible until 2015.

If we're tanking next year, I want Ekblad.

I think it's possible but US kids don't usually show a willingness to go up to Canada off the bat. The Q has yet to grant a player EPS to this point. I'm not 100% sure if Crosby applied for it but he wasn't a EPS player in the Q.

Eichel's a late birthday he'll finish his two years with the USNTDP with a year before the 2015 draft. So he'll either be playing in Halifax or Boston U for his draft year ala Seth Jones and Patrick Kane.

Interesting.

If I were him, I'd probably opt for Halifax, but being a MA kid, he probably wants to play for Boston U.

I think Halifax would be a better choice for his development though.
