I'm looking at the Jets, and offering our #4 and a 3rd rounder for their 9th overall and 13th overall picks. If they don't bite, I'm throwing them more picks, maybe a player, maybe Foles until they bite. Two picks is what the Eagles should want.

Either way, I don't want the LB at 4 and I'm torn about the NT, but I wouldn't go Star. I'd look at Floyd from Florida at 4. If he's gone, OL all the way. I've been Joeckel all the way for months, but Fisher looks good, and this kid Johnson from Oklahoma looks perfect for the potential system Kelly will be running.

If we somehow get the Jets two picks, that opens the door for Star at NT + a good CB, or an OL and a CB, or an OL and Star, or Mingo, or a Safety....it's perfect.

Most of all, I want them to take a chance on Mathieu. All the kid does is make plays, and we need someone like that. He'll stay clean.

If Eric Fisher is there at #4, I think the Eagles take him. If he's not, I think they trade back.

There is absolutely zero incentive for the Jets to trade both their firsts to move up to 4. They have more holes than we do, and need to fill as many as possible. Plus, in this draft, the value of 4 to 9 isn't THAT dramatic. Throwing in a 3rd changes nothing, although hopefully I'm wrong. I'd love to get #9 + #13.

As long as we don't take Geno smith, it'll be hard for the eagles to **** this up.

According to twitter ej manuel said that the eagles called him last night to confirm his contact info. Looking like that 2nd round pick will be him or trading back in the first will be him.

Looks like Lane Johnson is going to be the only top OT available at 4. In Kelly's system, he would thrive.

Eagles brass may not be happy about that.

Other draft news, local kid Ryan Nassib (QB - Syracuse, went to Malvern Prep) looks to be drafted today as a top 5 QB in this draft. Pretty cool, played against him in basketball in high school! My buddy who he backed up in grade school has been riding this story for a while haha.

The Kansas City Chiefs are set to make former Central Michigan left tackle Eric Fisher the first overall pick in the 2013 NFL draft.

The Chiefs will take Fisher with the first pick, a source with knowledge of the team’s plans told PFT’s Mike Florio.

Both OT go 1-2, then Jordan 3rd on a trade up. What does Chip do now?

Underwhelmed by the pick. Lane Johnson is good, but I think if they traded back they could have gotten DJ Fluker who I think is on the same level as Johnson.

Fluker screams bust to me.

I'm happy with this pick.

Fluker is a guard or RT. And he's not all that athletic so he doesn't fit Kelly's offense.

Johnson might have the most upside of all the OT's in the draft. Great pick.

I like it just because now we can move Herremens back inside. Still bitter about that Danny Watkins pick.

Yeah Watkins was a head scratcher at that time and looks even more terrible now.

If healthy:

Peters-Mathis-Kelce-Herremanns-Johnson

I wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles traded up to the late first to get Geno Smith if he falls.

No shot. Fluker is a turn table. I'd be shocked if he survives on the outside.

I've always preferred Manuel's game, but if they are higher on Smith, I'll defer to them.
