Landeskog, Hedman, A.Larsson, Enroth, Markström have expressed their interest in joining.

But Sweden will have no confirmed NHL additions before the regular season is finished.

Want to know the worst part? Finland's best KHL centers aren't coming either, aside from one who's playing with a minor injury. Basically they're all either injured or simply not willing to come. We've also had several good goalies playing in Europe decline the invitation. If Rinne says no, we're going to be left with only SM-liiga goalies. I don't know if it's ever been this bad before.

Great thread. Saves me the job of scrapping my way through various threads and sites to find out latest names of players who've signed up. Good job guys.

Hall Eberle and Dubnyk have all accepted invitations from Hockey Canada to go to World Championships.

You can also add Tomáš Fleischmann and Filip Kuba. Both should be confirmed.

Yes, but Hadamczik want them really bad so our union came up with some kind of insurance which could convince them but I guess it's still not very likely..

Right now, confirmed are Fleischmann, Kuba, Voráček, Hejda and it looks like Tlustý too.
Who are considered and is there a real chance but haven't expressed their statement yet: Hudler, Červenka, Šmíd, Z.Michálek, Hanzal, Vrbata, Pavelec

Sven Bärtschi and Roman Josi will surley join Switzerland, Nino Niederreiter got an invitation, wants to come, Isles have to decide. Brunner will join when the Red Wings miss the playoffs.

I don't know if you are also looking for AHL players, but Flyers prospect Marcel Noebels is currently on the roster for Team Germany, although he might yet be cut.

This is great news! He looks really good in AHL and has potential to make it to the NHL in years to come. I hope he makes the team, would be great to see him there.

He is supposed to play in the last couple of exhibition games before the WC.
They will play Switzerland tomorrow and again on Saturday. The game tomorrow will be broadcasted in Germany so I will hopefully get a chance to see him for the first time since the World Juniors a few years ago.
