Well the reason they black out the online radio broadcast is because they realized "hey I can be in California and listen to this for free instead of paying mlb.com for streaming."

So you actually have to listen to a radio, pay, or find some other dubious method.

I know it's not ideal, but I'd rather have what he is doing than what the rest of them are doing. At least he's getting on base.

Which local radio station carries the Phillies? A place like Tunein or iHeartradio might have a feed. That's how I used to follow the Flyers using my phone during my mid-game car rides, before I realized mobile Gamecenter does the same thing for free

93.3 and 97.5 I believe has them. I have the MMR app and it isn't on there. I think they black it out and go to the internet music feed.

No those are the Flyers & Sixers radio stations. Phillies are on 94.1 and 1210 AM.

And per Beef, I have Tunein and tried iHeartradio, no dice.

I used to listen to the Flyers all of the time online on my phone, not sure when everything changed. Bummer.

And then he gave up a home run. Nice job, Charlie.

the pitch tracker on MLB.com indicates this ump is garbage.

Edit: 3 of those 4 balls were listed as being clear strikes.

I'd have used Aumont.

Charlie Manuel is garbage, but that was a fine call. Both 2 out hits were on good pitches with guys lunging. I don't have a lot of confidence in Aumont, so I would have done the same thing Charlie did there and trust my ace. Especially with Mike Adams unavailable and the pitchers spot due up second in the 8th. Right call, bad outcome.

BTW, if you are only listening to audio... they were weak hits.

I'm following on MLB.com's gametracker, the descriptions looked like they were weak

One of those runs doesn't happen if three blatant strikes aren't called balls. The ump has been inconsistent since I started following.

Jesus. This bullpen is garbage. The bridge to Papelbon has been burnt to the ground.

Rename it the Pigpen. They throw slop and almost all of them remind me of this guy:

Same thing again and again and again. Really, the only thing they have left is to fire the manager. If that doesn't change things, nothing will.
