Also, Reasoner actually has playoff experience. He MAY come in handy down the stretch.

I'd honestly rather see one of the kids over Reasoner. He brings nothing to the table IMO.

Good game to rest some bodies. Better to let Poulin play tonight and Nabby tomorrow, just to avoid the long wait between Friday and Game 1 for Nabby. Maybe Cappy gets crazy tonight and moves Matty Marts to line 1 for the game? Wishful thinking...It's great having Boulton and Carkner in the lineup for some grit, but the odds that either of those guys are on the ice when JT is on is slim. Jack doesn't like change (see yellow tie and blue shirt for past 15 games), so I don't expect line 1 to be any different tonight.

LGI! beLIeve.

Not sure I'm going to see much of the game tonight since I'm flying up to Rochester tonight. BUT, I am going to the game in Buffalo tomorrow so I guess that's a good trade-off.

Let's Go Islanders!
I am going to make the 3 hour trek from the Cleve for the game to attend with friends from my college days at SUNY Brockport. Where you sitting? I'll be section 100 row 10.

Wow. I was in Cleveland Tuesday. When I tell people I've gone there, they always say they're sorry, but I'm not. There's no city better for food when you're travelling than Cleveland - Lebanese, Indian, Thai, and - of course - Vietnamese. Stop at any damn strip mall, and it's likely to be better than comparable offerings in NYC (and far cheaper). Thai-Ktich and Khem's in Lakewood are two of my favorite restaurants of all time.

Great food here! And one of the best municipal park systems I have ever seen. If they ever open up these from downtown they'll be in business.

Hit me up next time for a beer!

It makes sense.

302 Row 8. My fiance, her brother, my brother, his girlfriend and myself will be there. 3 Isles fans and 2 Sabres fans

This is a big game. But I can actually sit back, relax, and enjoy this one. I had fun these last few weeks, but I may have shaved a few years off my life.

My exact thoughts ha Lets win these last 2 and finish 10 games above the NHLs standard of .500 26-16-6 !

Edit: JT its time to starting heating up. Need you here in about a week...catch fire now please. Grabs would be nice also.

Where in Cleveland do you live/work? When I fly it's easy. When I drive, I'm usually S/E (near Warrensville Heights, or all the way down in Cuyahoga Falls). It's gotten really pricey to fly into Hopkins.

this. I throw Strome or Nelson in there if Aucoin went down. Rookies make their NHL debut in the playoffs all the time. It isn't a big deal. and I kind of like the idea of a Grabner Strome McDonald line anyway.

I'd love to see the Isles pick up the win tonight, Toronto lose to the Panthers, and the Isles move up into 5th.

I'd rather not put someone who should be in a top 6 role into a bottom 6 position in the playoffs for their first NHL game. Just my opinion though.

Ullstrom should be the first one up if anyone goes down.

Hope they can climb to the 5 seed. Don't really want to face the Caps.

There's a little bit of pressure. Don't wanna fall down to 8th and play Pittsburgh, that would suck.

Big game, but the first non-must win in weeks. I wonder how the team reacts (looking at you JT)
