2-0 L on the road is a bad result, not a horrible one.

Take out Ouimette for good. Convert Wenger to a defenseman. Make Paponi 1st sub option up front.

Yeah, they need to start the game with an offensive minded playmaking and one turnover can lead to a goal that will put them in a pretty sure loss. I hope Ouimette won't be as bad if he starts again. He needs more experience, he needs to play more, but right now he's not helping his case.

I'm sick of this team always saying this championship is important and always putting a sub par lineup out there. Just **** off ...

He made mistakes for sure. But he wasn't as bad as some regular players like Ouimette or Nyassi. He seems confident, he takes some chances and that's nice to see from a rookie. Obviously, it wasn't a great game but I believe he could play well with the regular lineup.

Yeah I'm not worried about his play yet. Only 20 years old and alot to learn. I don't think he will be an MLS starter this year though.

Yeah for sure. Clueless on toss in's. He even tossed one out of bounds!

Anyway, i need to stop watching European Football. Going back to the MLS especially todays roster aka Collen Warner melted my mind.

Quick question, does the MLS play away goals rules? So do we need 2 (with penalties afterword) or 3 next game?

A 2-0 result next week would go to penalties. 3-0 would win it.

but if they score one we'll need 4.

This is not an MLS game. MLS doesn't use that rule, the CCL does.

Embarassing lost, embarassing decisions by the coaching staff and embarassing performance by guys like Mallace, Wenger and Ouimette. At this point, I wonder if I will drive 500km in a day to go see our B team play Toronto next Wednesday.

Only reasoning i tought was that we wanted to just play guys like paponi romero and pisanu as starters saturday... ouimette.. damn it.. just brutal he reminds me of obyrne lol without the massive size but whoelse coild play central defense? Nesta surely cant play twice in 3 days and... rivas still injuted... didnt mind that much the other quebecers.. I think schalli wants to focus on mls cup since it will allow him an automatic renewal of he makes the playoffs.

One major thing I noticed is how none of our midfielders (excluding Bernier) can play with their back to the net. Barely anyone can play with their back to the net in fact.

We need to use our young players more often, but we also have to surround them better.

This! Use Wenger, but use him with Felipe, Pisanu and Romero. Give him guys that can feed him the ball. Use Ouimette OR Tissot, but not both at the same time. You want to give Mallace a shot? Fine, but dress Di Vaio!

I want our young guns to have a chance, but we have to put them in a position to succeed. That clearly wasn't the case yesterday, they were just thrown to the wolves.
