No, probably because there is no guarantee to have a rookie.

Good save by Bryz.

Gus definitely isn't Timonen though. Plenty of time to learn The Way.

Fantastic plays by Read and Schenn.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm personally really glad to see Briere score one more time in Philly. He's done a lot for the org.

Not lately, but as a whole, definitely yes.

Just because he isn't scoring doesn't mean he isn't mentoring.

Therien mentioned before the game that one of the coaches (Berube, I think) discussed Lauridsen's turnovers and that will be a focus of improvement.

I don't disagree. The possibility exists of a Brooklyn-related third jersey I suppose.

1-0 Nashville over Detroit. Good news for Bobrovsky's Blue Jackets.

Edit: and Detroit ties it.

Agreed.

Also liked the hustle from Matt Konan, to recover the puck after Manning hit the deck. And a footrace against Casey Cizikas no less, who has some wheels. He might never amount to much, but a positive that the big man seems like he can move - small sample size, obviously.

Zac Rinaldo on radio discussing his injury and being on the sideline "It is a pain in the ass and it sucks."

Favorite team growing up: "Flyers. I was a big Eric Lindros fan. When he was on the ice, I watched hockey, when he went off the ice I stopped watching."

Least favorite team? "Growing up, the Leafs. I hated them. Now, everyone. I hate all of them (opponents)."

Tavares scores the worst goals against us. IIRC that's his 3rd against us and they've all been garbage.
