As a Leaf fan, I would like to personally thank you for giving us a better chance at meeting the Habs in the 1st round. Cheers.

And who else was involved in that trade? Some familiar names, no?

Terry Murray was sent to Detroit. Some filler involved.

Flyers got a d-man named Rick LaPointe who passed away a few years ago.

Oh crap. I thought there was another future Flyer coach involved, but no.

The best part of Coatsey's brief NHL stint: 5 games. 24 penalty minutes.

Well that was a fun game and GDT. Always nice when the home team wins, no matter what draft position they are in.

This is the game Coates scored. Against Pittsburgh's Dennis Herron.

He had a fighting major at 26 seconds.

This entire season has been disappointing. When you want them to win, they lose. When you want them to lose, they win. It's crap.

Brian Propp would have been my guess. His first two goals: He scored the 3rd goal in a 5-2 win. He scored 3rd goal in a 4-3 win. That is close.
