I understand the confusion. When Pavelec is in butterfly his shoulder is same level as DD's. Honest mistake.

Is it a good or bad thing that Tinordi has been our best D-man tonight?

Tinordi has double the amount of hits tonight that he had in his previous six games in total

I don't think the puck touched DD on that last goal. Should have been Pacioretty's.

Ok this team has played rope a dope for the past 8 games. In 1 period they are back to their old selves and playing very well defensively.

All those who alt-QQ'd after the first goal against should learn to actually watch the game. Good good game so far!

I could care less about what you think of Bouillon (actually, I couldn't, that's how much I don't care), but if you're going to criticize D-men positioning, what you should have said about that goal was that Bouillon should have stood IN FRONT of Price in order to prevent Wheeler from touching the puck and slide it under him.

Now YOU can go to sleep with minimal knowledge of actual hockey positioning.

One day I'll explain more elaborate stuff like how icing the puck while on 5-on-5 is bad and why shooting a puck wide sometimes results in losing puck possession. But for now, I'll understand if you have your hands full with today's lesson

I think that Bourque with DD and Pacioretty is a good idea because it mimic the Cole Desharnais Pacioretty from last year.

2 observations

1) If Tinordi is able to play so well on the RIGHT side, then what the hell is Therrien waiting for? Play him with Markov already so that he can replace Emelin's game.

2) my god is Bourque ever coasting on the ice, his work ethic is embarrassing right now.

Can only be good for confidence, its been a long time that all four lines looked somewhat dangerous

Boston needs to lose either Saturday or Sunday and we need 2 points Saturday. One point won't suffice if Boston takes a win in either of their games. Sadly it's against the Leafs for us and they'll likely wanna whoop us to solidify 5th. Sens or Rangers could still catch em. Don't put it past Ottawa to take that game Sunday very seriously if it means the difference between 8th and 6th. Ok if it means 5th they might tank to avoid Toronto haha. But I hope they're having something to play for Sunday. Caps might just fold their cards Saturday and rest their regulars (maybe not OV since he's aiming for a possible scoring title).
