Yes. He has 5" arms and he's not even that good of a player.

This is a shocking, stupid pick.

After watching Eli get abused, this was a predictable move by Reese.

Were there better lineman on the board there? Rebuilding the O-Line is a serious need for the G-men, so I'm not that upset with this pick. Would have been on board with any OL or LB pick here

Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuughhhhhhhhhh. He's gonna play left guard next year when Boothe is gone because I do not see this guy being a pro nfl right tackle with those arms and hes not even that big.

Really? People are doubting JR? I'm watching the NFL Network, and Mayock loves the pick.

Not pleased. JR has a lot of cred built up. But not good.

Jets looking like they destroy the Gmen at the draft.
Whoda thunk. Good for them.

He was mediocre. At Syracuse. Against mediocre competition. I have no idea how he is BPA here.

Look, I love being proven wrong. I love it. But this is a pick of a guy who was not even thought of as a 1st round pick until a couple of days ago.

Better linemen? Debateable. Better players? 1000% yes.

Eh, Jets had one solid pick and one ??? pick. Like I said -- no idea how Richardson fits that scheme unless they are switching to a 4-3.

All the elite linemen were gone. But goodness we could have had a guy just like Pugh in the second round. I would have taken the TE or even a linebacker before this. I dont know what happened with Floyd but that is shocking. If the Giants let him slip knowing how linemen crazy they are and how monstrous he is must mean there is something seriously wrong with him.

I don't know anything about Pugh so I'll withhold judgement.

But I do know about Jerry and I've learned to not doubt his moves. Hope it works.

Pugh is not a bad player its just there were other better players on the board and you could have still had Pugh or someone like him in the second. Having said that, the Bears just reached for Long too so theres a huge run going on the linemen right now which is probably why the Giants went for him now since by tomorrow there will be a ton of good players still on the board in the second round that otherwise wouldnt be because of this insane run on offensive linemen. This has to be an NFL record. This will help all the crappy teams picking high in the second because they will get very good skill players falling to them. And the Giants will probably have their pick of the litter at linebacker with their next pick.

Well the only position we don't suck at is QB, so we might as well protect that

That is always a possibility, hopefully it happens.
