We need a gif of that sequence. Man PK has superswag.
That Subban play... damnnnn I'm impressed.

Another one.

We won tonight. I think? Right? Or did they take away a few of our goals and we lost?

Finally, a win.

Zone entry on the PP sucks balls though.

Eller: 27pts in 45 games, 0.60pts/game, +5, 83 shots
DD: 28pts in 47 games, 0.60pts/game, -2, 66 shots

One game left to go

DD played well tonight.......3rd points this year at 5 on 3.....
Eller was even better AGAIN.....

Didn't Eller diserve something for that?????

Without any serious PP time
Eating tough minutes in PK
Playing a couple of games on the fourth line
Couple of games as a winger
With non-offensive forwards for most games (Prust, Dumont, Armstrong, Moen)
With a talented 19 years old rookie

He's being better offensively, defensively and physically

This is why some (including myself) hate DD....cause Eller diserve it so much more and he ain't getting any because of him.

How many more points would Eller have, if he was the one getting 100 minutes more in PP??

Jets fan here. Congratulations for making the playoffs. Would have loved to see MTS Centre host playoff hockey, the noise and the white out. Team was deflated after 2nd intermission and looked like they just gave up after finding out the news of not making it in.

Good luck to you guys, I feel we both our teams have the top two fan bases in the league.

I liked Bourque with Eller and Chuck tonight, didn't like him being taken off the line to play with DD.

DD had a good game tonight, he only had 1 glaring turnover but Eller with Bourque and Chuck were dominant. Mind you they played well with Gallagher as well, just don't like all the kids together.

Good thing that Rangers won tonight....

Didn't want to loose that game...but surely didn't want to eliminate another Canadian team either. Would have been nive Winnipeg to get some this year....your fanbase diserve it so much more than many other!

Haha thanks guys! Easier to be okay with it being a Habs fan before the Jets came back but yes it will be so freaking awesome to have both teams in different conferences next year. Now I can hope for Habs/Jets finals

I'll have to get me one of those Habs playoffs avis soon too

Eller was playing crazy hot on that goal by Bourque. He was skating like the wind through that neutral zone. Epic. He loves killing Winnipeg, that's for sure. Jet-killer, or should I say, Jet-downer?

Switching Gally and Bourque was good move IMO. It spread our size around and had DD being insulated by two big wingers, like he had when Cole was here. Bourque may not be Cole but I think it's smart to try it again next game, especially against the Leafs.

I understand the move, but I didn't like it in this context with that line really going.

The major positive point from this game is that Eller if this would be an 82 games season would be on pace for a 60+pts season.

Good point but Gallagher can slide into any line and make it work, so I don't think it would hurt that lines production.

Glad to see that this thread turned into Eller vs Desharnais instead of a PGT after a win.

I'd love to see him on the Plek line and move Gionta down but maybe that's just me.

And game 1 is on Tuesday night from the Bell Centre. That is what RDS mentioned at the end of the game.

It was hilarious when I saw the puck getting so close to getting outta the zone and Subban comes flying in to keep it alive. Passes to Markov, clears the broken stick down the ice, and gets off a slapshot all in one sequence.
Was very nice

Notices 1 thing different in Price's game.

He was actually throwing out shots to anyone infront of him. Maybe he's tired of his defence not doing a thing to help clear the crease.
