Holy crap what an episode. Everything was happening. Clearly the best episode yet.

Since we already have Captain John Harkness (Barrowman) and River Song (Alex Kingston), I'm almost expecting the 10th Doctor (David Tennant)to make appearance at some point.

I wonder if the cops or someone discovers that. They specifically zoomed to the broken glass under the door after he got shot

It's back.

A lot of stuff was happening in this episode as well but it was just enough and set up so that it didn't feel too clustered. No overly cheesy relationship drama or it was kept to a very minimum.

The quality of episodes is definitely on a clear upward curve. They're not wasting too much time on soap opera like relationship drivel while keeping all the plot elements moving at nice pace while showing the island backflashes at the same time.

Dead on;

I'm starting to like the island story more than the main story.

I want them to devulge into how Tommy's father became the Dark Archer;

Watch it be Yao Fe who trained him;

There's 5 episodes left, I doubt they have time to get into that this season.

I just caught up to this show and would have never expected it to be this good. I'm a sucker for super heroes but I've literally had zero interest in The Green Arrow until now. I gotta say so far I think Manu Bennett, who I loved as Crixus, has made for an excellent Slade Wilson.

"Clear" Digg's a bad ass.

Oli shooting 3 arrows after being told he'd miss with one.

Needs more Yao Fei's daughter.

No he acts exactly like the way you think he would, a spoiled brat.

I hope they don't go the green- and hob-goblin story..

that's the point. He's supposed to be the anti-Oliver/the reflection of what Oliver would've been if he hadn't ended up on the island. You're supposed to hate him for it because it helps illustrate what makes Oliver a hero.

We're already sort of on a green goblin type path (Oliver as Spidey, Malcolm as Norman Osborne/Green Goblin, and Tommy as Harry Osborne). It wouldn't be too surprising to see them continue down that road, if only to make Tommy into a full blown dark mirrior Oliver. I guess the determinant would be how long John Barrowman is under contract to the show as to how quickly they'd need to replace him.

It does seem like they are. Will Tommy expose olivers secret?

doubtful. It would change too much having everyone know his identity.

The likely excuse is that either a) Tommy/Malcolm choose to keep it secret because they'd prefer to deal with him on their own terms (bring him to their side or crush him however they want, or b) Tommy chooses to keep it secret as one bit of loyalty to his and Oliver's friendship/because Ollie saved his life earlier on/for whatever reasoning.

Well Oli saved his father's life and neither Tommy nor Oli know Malcom is the Dark Archer.

It's...the black guy from Angel! And he's gone just as quickly.

Good episode again. The "love triangle" thing is a more than cliche though. I didn't like Diggs going emo that much either. Is the Roy kid a character from the comics?

Roy Harper is Speedy! (later Arsenal and Red Arrow)

J. August Richards has a part lined up for the S.H.I.E.L.D series (which he won't/can't say any details on), so this was just a stopover before that.

Didn't like the crap with Diggle either. It was a dick move by Ollie to abandon him to go after the other guy, but at the same time I didn't like the emo guilt trip. "Because of you, 3 agents are dead"? really? If Ollie didn't go after the other guy, his assassin (I can't remember his character name, so I keep calling him "Gunn" after his Angel character ) could've taken out Ollie's family, Laurel, Tommy, and the kid.

and Roy is a comic character. He's Green Arrow's 1st sidekick. "Speedy" is kind of a dumb name and look, but he was badass on the Young Justice Cartoon in his Red Arrow/Arsenal version.

I wonder if they're setting Roy up in this series to pull off a Tim Drake/Robin style intro. Where he eventually discovers who the hood is and asks Oliver to train him to help do what he does.
