if CSKA is really pushing for Shipatchev to come, Radulov already scored from his assist in a eurochallenger game today)

Awesome! I was hoping someone would sign him. Now Skoula can get revenge on his old team for dumping him on Christmas! I hope he does well.

Correction, for 2 teams dumping him. Not much of that revenge is left in him.

SKA talked with his representatives during the playoffs. Really hope he comes to St. Petersburg. Tikhonov has been great but I'd prefer a more established point-getter like Shipachyov

You'be be surprised how much revenge Skoula's puck poise can give him...

I give Slovan the edge against Lev next year with Skoula's puck poise and revenge.

There has been rumors that Dawes will go to the NHL. The team is looking for a north american goalie from the AHL or NHL. Other then that I haven't heard too much.

Thanks guys I was curious to see who they would be bringing in, I did hear about the rumor they wanted Dawes and Bochenski to stay with the team.

Chris Lee (D) has joined Magnitka - a questionable signing if you ask me.
Nichushkin is rumored to have been bought out by Dinamo, let's see

not buy out but traded to Dynamo. Normal move, happens in NHL all the time. Look at Tampa, best rookie Conacher traded to Sens

It is rumored that the deal cost Dynamo 10 millions. I don't even see why Dynamo would need him at all but for this kind of money the deal seems really strange.

41 points and +20 in the Elitserien; 7+5 in 10 playoff games and +5 rating - well, that doesn't get clearer than that - he's one hell of an offensive D. What are your concerns?

They've also signed Jan Kovar from Plzen and now have 5 foreigners meaning they don't expect Zuccarello back.

What's strange about? Why do Dynamo need a player with once in afive years talent level? That's a ridiculous question. And understandably that kind of money were needed to make Traktor even consider this "trade".

scoring in Scandinavian leagues doesn't mean much as far as KHL is concerned, we had seen it time and time again, the fact that the guy is most likely not very reliable defensively clearly states that Velichkin being the usual self went after the fancy wrapping, but not what's inside.

10 mil USD should be normal sum for players of his caliber, if not more. Yes, NHL does not pay it, and IT IS A PROBLEM

I had an opinion before THIS, that sum for NHL 1st rounders is 1-2 mil USD, not I am not so sure. It can be 10-15 mil. USD, no problem. Only problem, NHL does not want to pay it.

But he's been a plus player throughout his career so I'm guessing that's no luck, he must be pretty sound defensively as well as offensively.

And scoring in Elitserien usually translates into KHL pretty well. Only D who failed to repeat his Elitserien numbers in the KHL was Puistola. Others - Kronwall, Niskala, Hietanen, Maenpaa, Jaakola - were as successful. Obviously he's not going to be a PPG player but 30 points - no problem. I think he was the best D on the market without a shadow of doubt so it was a great job by Magnitka to get him.

How many hockey transfers of this kind - where 18 year old supertalent is being transfered from one team which just made it to the Cup finals to the other - do you know about?
