After playing around how I think the East will line up I much prefer the B's winning the division. I would rather the B's play the Rags in the 1st round then have to play the Pens in anything but the ECF.

Me neither. I hope the Islanders win tonight, so there's at least a chance the Rags get the 8 seed. I really want the Rangers to get Pittsburgh - they could knock those ****holes off, or at least wear them down for round 2. I don't see much of a challenge for the Penguins with either the Islanders or the Senators.

Lundquist plays out of this world against us for some reason. Especially the way our offense has been as of late. I could see us losing in 5 and getting shutout twice, with our only win being a mere 2-1 or 1-0.

And how Ironic NYR board has the same poll as this one and the poll as of now is saying they all want to play us in the first round 3:1 to anybody else...

Bruins have the goaltender advantage over the Isles, Leafs and Sens IMO.. Not Rangers... Now, doesn't mean everything, but Lundqvist is the last goalie I would want to face round one.

We also have no answer for Rick Nash.

If the Bruins draw the Rangers in the 1st round, Julien will be heading for the unemployment line.

Unless I've misread that box scores, he had 3 assists vs the Bruins this year. He was dangerous with the puck, but he didn't light it up. The guy who worried me, and made it even harder to contain Nash, was Gaborik.

Well on the upside, they traded away Gaborik and he was a hgue Bruin killer the whole time he was there so thats a plus. Meh?

Yeah Nash can be taken off his game quite easily. Throw a late check on him and he goes into a shell. Gaborik was lethal against us, so him being gone is great for us. We're going to need 4 lines chipping in if we want to beat NYR, Henrik is simply too good to be beaten unless we're forechecking/puttin lots o' biscuits on basket.

Chances are the Rangers will wear themselves down if they face the B's in the 1st round, the style they play gives offensively skilled teams much more trouble than it would give the B's over 7 games. When the gears are turning in the right direction for the B's they weigh heavily on opponents, I really do not see the Rangers having an easy round 1 at all if it is indeed vs. the Bruins. Not at all.

Hopefully that's the case...but honestly, with Staal coming back and King Henrik...they could become this years version of the LA Kings.

Why would they fire him after winning at least 1 round?

Rangers are easily beatable...you just have to have patience and determination to not let their system frustrate you... Not sure our guys will have the emotions to invest they need however./

I don't like the idea of playing Callahan | Clowe or Stefan in the playoffs
