It's not like Pekka has been all that great this season either. Mason has been awful, Peks has been average. Goaltending hasn't been the difference since the early season.

I know that Peks has had an off year, but when he's on his game he's still one of the best in the league. Bugs fans viewed starting Mase last night as tanking against Detroit (as did our fans), and helping the Wings get to the post season and giving Cbus the big FU in the process. If Peks starts Saturday night, the bugs fans will go ballistic.

Maybe last night was Mason's sendoff? I doubt he plays on an NHL roster full time. I suspect he goes overseas or takes up a job within the organization. Doubt he wants to ride the bus and hope for injury.

Don't be so quick to assume that.

Are there any lawyers out there? I need a legal clarification on what the Preds are doing.

Chris Mason was absolutely atrocious when he was, like that entire franchise, briefly in Atlanta. I've become a full-on Preds fan since the Move, and one of my long-time Preds diehard friends was telling me how awesome it was that Mason was coming back to Nashville. I told him that was bad, very very bad, and he thought I was nuts. This whole season was just a mess from start to finish, but there's got to be a better goalie available in the offseason.

Right?

I'm offering many prayers that there are. Heck even an underdeveloped Hellberg seems better (I know he needs another season to develop at least)

What about people who are studying law?

What they are doing is absolutely untouchable by American or Canadian laws.

PM me if this was a serious inquiry.

Absolutely the right move. Give Rinne the rest. We gain nothing by winning. Play the young players and see what we have. Don't give in, but no need to be stupid.
