Nah, can't wish that on someone. Particularly when the fear spreading across Habs land is that we're going to get butchered in a pen tonight.

Hope he's back for playoffs, no matter who they are playing. He needs a haircut though.

All this Leafs trash talking.. remindes me of the cocky Penguines and Caps in 2010.

LOL, yap yap yap.

I hope one of Eller or Gally levels him and we'll see if he likes it. Want to go back in time and steal his Habs blanky.

Important game tonight. If we win, it considerably improves our chances of finishing 2nd. If we win and don't finish second then we go into habs-leafs first round matchup on a 2 games win streak and having beaten them the previous game.

My BS detector is going off. It talks like a leafs fan, it smells like a leafs fan... sounds like a 10 posts troll account made in prevision for the playoffs. You're on a short leash good sir.

From Leaf source -

Ryan O'Byrne, Jake Gardiner, Frazer McLaren & Ryan Hamilton all getting extra work this morning. Would suggest that they'll be out tonight.

Why would they keep McLaren and Gardiner out?!?!?

This match is pretty useless for them. Better to rest some people.
Habs will likely do the same..

Budaj is likely starting. Good decision. Think it's better to let Price sit this one out and mentally get ready for Tuesday.

I think folks are way over-reacting. Toronto does not want to go into the playoffs with injured guys any more than other clubs do. And surely they want to finish 5th instead of 6th, so they will be trying to win today and not just pile up penalties.

I think it's a terrible decision to go with your backup when you have a chance to win the division.

Do not like the decision to play Budaj. Looks cowardly and as much as I think Petey has been good, Price is just coming of one of his best games. You gotta play him!

Exactly. I hope this team wants to win the division and is not just trying **** out. Better f'in win this game.

If it is Boods, man I hope he has his best game of the year since it will hopefully (if you get my meaning) be his last.

The habs don't care who they face. They do their thing and they'll face whoever.

Throwing our back up in there is a good move psychologically too. If we win with our back up then lol. If we lose with our back up then we lost because we didn't play our starter. It removes some of the importance of the game.

I like it.

If Bozak is out it means more Kadri and Grabovski, who can actually keep the puck after faceoffs.

If push comes to shove, I wouldn't be surprised if Budaj pulls a Halak and cause a controversy. Very possible.

This is entirely possible too. Same with Gardiner, Bozak et al. being out.

It will be interesting who gets rested tonight. I like the thought of resting Carey. Let him observe from high above. I would also rest Markov and Pleks. Play the rest.

Toronto is 16th in FO% and Montreal is 19th...not much between them.

All our C's are average on faceoffs this year with Halpern above average. Plekanec and Desharnais are over 50%, Eller is just under.

The faceoff issue is the most overblown of anything.
