I had read but was unable to confirm that Dave Tippett is only on a one year contract, as is Maloney. If his contact ends, the Flyers might be able to get him. I know he plays a defense first system and phoenix doesnt score a lot but the Flyers have way more talent upfront than the Coyotes so I don't think goals would be an issue.
There are going to be a lot of coaching candidates that are pretty competent including Lavi that just need a reset. Flyers should do themselves a favor and Lavi a favor by letting him go. This league just has a short shelf life when it comes to coaches and there is a reason for it. A coach's message can only last so long. Lavi's system requires a lot of work and motivation. The Flyers tried to extend his shelf life by bringing in some younger players that would be more inclined to listen to him but then there remains other players that are probably tired of him..hence the lamentations by the players that some players bring it some nights and others don't. The team needs to be all on the same page and buy into the system..right now this team obviously doesn't and yeah the injuries don't help but look at other teams with injuries that have been more cohesive. It's time to let Lavi go in the offseaon. In the meantime he can continue do his part to help secure a lottery pick ....
It is depending on how it was asked. We already know Randy Miller is a jackass and is one of the reasons Bryz blew up a few weeks ago. Of course, the media isn't going to tell you anything other than what they want us to know since they're the ones who were the target of scorn. Maybe someone from BSH or something/someone who won't be afraid can give us the details.
My favorite part is that "the rant can't be repeated on Twitter." Oh no. Not on the Internet.
