Unbelievable save by Marlies goalie Drew MacIntyre

Folks, I know this is NHL talk technically, but this save is incredible. I've never seen this before

that's awesome, I remember my friend used to always make saves like that when we played street hockey

you don't see that type of save very often at all, very unorthodox, way to not give up on the play

that was ridiculously good, but does that even go in without the save?

Might have gone wide without the glove, but that was still pretty slick.

Great reaction but I'm pretty sure it wasn't going in the net anyway, looked to be headed wide.

Even if it was going wide, Mac has tremendous balls to try that in a playoff game and actually pull it off. That's a desperation save in it's finest form

Holy crap! I thought it was his pad at first, but to catch with his glove?? Absolute robbery!

Why would it take balls to try that? It's either that, or let the puck go past him.

Nice save, though.

that's going well wide, if anything he just gives it more of a chance to go in off his glove.

remarkable save nonetheless!

Yeah looked like it was going wide, but still, to stay in the play and catch that in your glove is incredible.

Reminds me somewhat of this, though the puck was being shot instead of rolling down his back

WWE Superstar Drew Mcntyre also plays goalie for the marlies?

First of all, it's easy to say "let the puck go past him" when you can see the angle fine watching at home. On the ice it's different, from his view, the puck is going behind him, he doesn't know if it's going into the net or not, it's not like Mac has slow-mo vision

Also, if he were to mess up slightly, like say he wasn't quick enough to trap the puck or get the whole glove out in time, it's possible the puck deflects off his glove and goes in. It was risky trying to pull that but he timed it perfectly.

That save was an instinct reaction. You're acting as though it was planned in advance, like a guy doing a backflip or whatever for a shootout attempt. That's weird.

Just because he's on the show "Superstars" every week doesn't mean he gets that title.
