The Bruins brought their full squad to Washington yesterday, minus Jaromir Jagr (flu-like symptoms) and Nathan Horton (upper-body injury). The Bruins are still fighting for second place in the Eastern Conference, so they will presumably dress their playoff roster against the Capitals.
Projected Bruins lineup
Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Rich Peverley
Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Tyler Seguin
Carl Soderberg-Chris Kelly-Kaspars Daugavins
Daniel Paille-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton
Zdeno Chara-Dennis Seidenberg
Andrew Ference-Johnny Boychuk
Wade Redden-Adam McQuaid
Healthy scratches: Aaron Johnson, Dougie Hamilton, Jay Pandolfo
Isn't there a scenario where Ottawa could pass leafs for fifth?
Either way I am not a fan of losing on purpose to get the match up you want.
I would like to see the Bruins win the last two and take 2nd for home ice.
While I don't think home ice is as big a deal as some make it-two things make me want home ice for as many rounds as possible. First the Bruins have a very good home record this season-and second I think Tuukka is better on home ice. Four if his shutouts are at TD Garden. I want Tuukka playing as many games as he can at home.
Any idea what channel this is going to be on? NHL.com says NBCSN, but they also have Detroit-Dallas on NBCSN at 7 as well. And the Red Sox are playing at the same time, so I assume we are on NESN+ if not NCBSN.
