You may be but Columbus has taken too much **** over the years. They need a break. And it looks like they won't be getting it.

Coming from an Atlanta resident, I have no sympathy. Should be happy they still have a team

Yeah. I was thinking I had seen him go to the box way more often but thought I just heard him wrong.

Like I said earlier, I think he's been riding up and down the Duquesne Incline all day drinking Iron City until he was passed out drunk. Were it not for the tattoo on his butt saying "If found, please return to John Forslund. Reward: Dead or Alive" he'd probably still be laying there in a pool of his own vomit.

Yeah, discussing how little Staal takes stupid penalties this year compared to last...immediately after Staal takes a stupid penalty...not the top of his game tonight.

Eric Staal. 54 PIM. If looked into further, probably slashing, tripping, hooking and unsportsmanlike, IIRC..

Really like Jared fighting in front of the net there.

Of course, getting outmuscled by Letang isn't exactly a good thing. But at least he was there.

Tamba Bay and Nashville both up at the end of the 2nd. If we end up losing this game, which is looking more and more likely and they both win then we jump all the way up to 3rd in the draft without any lottery shenanigans

You know, Jared Staal is not altogether terrible. He at least holds his own with all the other fourth-line riff-raff we've had this season. I'm not saying give him a contract, but the way people talked I expected a guy who could barely stand up on his skates.

Absolutely nothing but hope we drafted the best player available, whether that's Drouin, Barkov, Nurse, or even Nichushkin (lol, like JR would draft another Russian).

Pretty sure he had at least 8 minutes if not more in a single game against the Jets early in the season...and then there was that nasty bit last week where the ref threw him in the box because he wouldn't shut up about a call, right after he had just served 2 minutes already.

Tripp is obviously drunk.
