They really should change the standings format though. The division winners shouldn't automatically get #1,#2 & #3. It should guarantee you a playoff spot but they should still seed the teams based off points then at the end of the season imo.
I've been saying this for years. It makes no sense that you get a top 3 seed regardless of where you stack up compared to the conference.

If St. Louis wins tonight, which looks like they will with the Chicago lineup tonight, will be interesting to watch Sharks/Kings tonight. Winner goes to St. Louis, loser goes to Vancouver.

Wish we could've somehow gotten Atkinson out of Columbus in the Gabby trade.

Jackets are a team with never die attitude. They just find a way to win.

I want Wild to make it. Just to troll Devils fans. They are so obsessed with Parise and them missing playoffs.

Meh I think we did pretty well anyways.

If Brassard can be a solid #2C and Moore turns into top-4 D-man I think we made out like bandits. Then there's Dorsett as well.

Neal comes back after a month off and has a hat trick. So glad we don't have to face the Pens.

If that happens the Sharks should just mail it in tonight. They match up terribly vs the Blues, never seem to beat them.

Not sure how I feel about seeing the Caps again. I was hoping after last year that would be it for awhile. The Rangers always make any Cap playoff goalie look like Patrick Roy.

Dale Hunter's Caps team played a much more playoff tough style, defensive, aggressive, mirrored the Rangers in their shot blocking. I wonder if this year's series will be similar. Probably another 7 games.

And Neal was pretty invisible last time we played Pens.

I think we can hang with Pens. Even beat them. I'd just rather someone else take a shot at them.

Remember 2008? Those "game changing " phantom penalties against the Rangers.
