agreed. On a normal night, we lose 4 or 5-2 and he say Bryz had no help. I will try and look at the positive. Maybe we have found our goalie for the next decade...and it isn't Bryz. And we will still get a good player with our pick.
You people are amusing. I'd rather we end the season on a high note and build Mason's confidence level and draft at #12 than the team rack up another loss and build a losing mentality in a young locker room even if it means picking at #8.
Giving Mason five to six months to bask in the performance he's put on thus far will be a major step in his development. Securing Mason's confidence (and Couturier, Schenn, Schenn, etc. no less) is much, much more important than whatever difference is between the 8th and 12th spots in the draft.
How is one loss on the last game of the season going to cause Mason to lose his confidence and create a losing environment?
Would love to have lost tonight it really does mean we are missing out. Hopefully we win the lottery and if not find the guy that everyone's pissed they missed. Other than that this mason is better than most draft picks we'd get
