We Play Toronto or Ottawa

We will play Toronto or Ottawa as the Rangers are guaranteed 6th place. If Ottawa wins tomorrow we will play them, and if Boston wins tomorrow we will play Toronto.
I am just happy we are back in the playoffs with home ice advantage

Ottawa has had a very hard time scoring recently. Lots of 1 goal games recently. 2 on Thursday. Their last 4 games they've been kept under 3 goals.

But they are such a structured and well coached team. And they are big. And Spezza could return for all we know.

The Toronto team we saw tonight often shows up and needs Reimer to bail them out...

So I dunno who I'd rather face.

Enjoy the Bruins/Leafs hilarity and face Sens or get the easier opponent...tough choice.

Honestly, I'd want no part of the Sens.

Vs the leafs it's gonna be a nerve wrecking series, with pride at stake. We can take care of them in 4 or 5 games if we get in their head, but there is a lot to lose.

Vs Ottawa it's gonna be the best team wins. No gooning it up , no mind games. Almost sure it gets to 6 or 7 games. It would be great.

Ottawa is a lot scarier with Karlsson in the line-up. If Laffs play like tonight, bring 'em on.

Having Karlsson back is scary but I still hope for the Sens. This would also put us in a better position for round 2 & 3.

Not to defend the leafs, but all the games vs them are gonna be emotionnal. Momentum will switch a lot from one game to another. Could still go either way in a best of 7. I'd be cautiously optimistic.

I kinda want to play Ottawa, because constant home ice advantage would be nice.

If we face OTT, game 1 on Tuesday will be a huge advantage for us. 3rd game in 4 nights for Ottawa.

Ottawa's been told by the NHL that they won't play Tuesday. So the series would start on Wednesday.

Good point. My only concern against Ottawa is that Anderson could still a series himself.

It doesn't take much to turn the Bell Centre against the home team, so it could become a neutral site series.

I would rather the Sens just to avoid the meltdown on HFBoards of whatever the outcome of a Habs-Leafs series would be.

I think the Sens are a better team than the Leafs (much harder to beat with a healthy line-up), but I would rather them as I feel the series against the Leafs might leave a few of our key players injured over the long stretch.
