I don't know if I can watch tonight's game, it feels weird to watch while secretly hoping for a loss and a first round series against Vancouver. So conflicted haha

I suppose I should SNOG for one last time this season.
Kings 3
Kopitar x2 Carter
Sharks 2
Couture, Burns

Honestly, I don't know which team I'd prefer the Sharks to face, if it's not LA. (and given there's 8 minutes left in the Stl/Chi game, and the Blues are up 3-1, there's no way it's going to be LA.) I guess we'll just have to see.

Sharks score: "Yay. Goal."

Kings score: "Damn! Goal!"

Bring on the Canucks, please.

Suppose it might help me if we got the Blues. I haven't been sleeping too well lately.

Sit Nemo again and ice your best skaters that are healthy and see what happens. There's no reason not to go out and win this. You don't want the guys up front to stop playing the way they have. The only guy that stands to benefit from sitting is Demers and Niemi.

I think it's in both teams' best interests for the Kings to win tonight. Kings were better against STL than Van, and Sharks were much better against Van than STL. I agree on resting Niemi though.

I can see it now.

Dan Boyle will go backhand roof in OT. We'll play St. Louis again in the first round and LA will play Vancouver again in the first round.

Nah, Burish will get a hat trick since he can't do anything right.

Sit majority of the top-6 and get blown out.

OR

Play everyone and blow LA out.

That is what I would like.

Because he's played a ton of games in a condensed amount of time. He can use another day off. The other guys haven't been taxed as much as Nemo over the course of the season.

Uh, is Havlat sitting because he's hurt or because Todd wants Kennedy to get some playing time?

Just maintenance I think. Plus I would rather Havlat not play LA in a game that does not have that much importance.

If Hannan/Stuart is still a thing during the playoffs tears may be shed. Guess I was wrong to be optimistic when that pairing was split up during the 3rd period of the phoenix game.

Sneaky TMac. Scratched Havlat and playing Hannan.

He even said in the radio pregame that the Sharks are "playing for home ice advantage vs LA." Pretending he didn't notice Stanton, LaLonde, Hayes, and Pirri on Chicago's roster vs St Louis.
