Against us, Alfie is definitely still a gamebreaker!

Hope he does that tomorrow night though. Want title and if we play like we did tonight, we can beat Ottawa.

Playing Ottawa is like playing at home for every game, lol. They'd even be in their own beds every night.

I'm good with ether of them but since I would rather be in 2nd place then 4th I will go with Ottawa. Its would be good to have a new rival anyways.

Ott is much better, the plane is headaches and does not taxi over to the arena or the hotel. OTT ftw and would be delightful watching the broon and leaf butt heads.

Don't care about the matchup at all but it would be nice to win the Division.

I'm thinking Ottawa will be highly motivated to win tomorrow so that they could avoid Pitt. I think.

As for who do I want? Either one; makes no difference to me.

Tonight's game against the Maple Leafs may have been a moral victory but it also may have been a strategic loss.

If the Leafs were going to play the series like tonight, it would have been better to lose tonight and then face them ... but if the Habs do face the Leafs, tonight's game just gave them a wake up call to clean up their act. Toronto made a lot of slacker errors tonight and as much as it seems that the Habs played good, the Leafs played just terrible in the 2nd period. So, if the Habs play the Leafs, I'm sure they won't make the same sloppy mistakes.

On the other side, if the Habs wanted to play the Leafs, the Montreal win now means they might get to play the Senators, and the Senators aren't that easy especially since Karlsson may be back. That might just be a tougher match up than playing Toronto. It also drops a couple of places in the 2013 draft. Is the win worth it?

If OTT, between game 3 and 4 the Habs would return to Montreal?

Let's say they get to OT though, doesn't that get them out of trouble? I hope it doesn't get there and then they take their foot off the gas.

Win decisively in the first 40! Don't take a chance. Two division titles (including 1 conference) in 5 years wouldn't be too shabby.

Yeah, OTT takes it to OT and they are the 7th seed.

Not sure about that. In term of distance yes but the team takes the bus to ottawa (~2 hrs ride) vs the plane to toronto (1 hr flight). I'd prefer the latter any time.

yes. you play to win.

If the Habs can't match the leafs in the playoffs it's their own fault. I don't think Therrien will let that happen. If we play Ottawa, AGAIN, we are not intimidated.

Habs playing their best are as good as the standings show them to be.

edit: nice try though

Toronto. They've been much luckier this season, plus Ottawa has Karlsson back.

I haven't watched much of Ottawa lately, but I have Boston, including tonight (had it on my computer screen to the side once we were clearly in the lead - went bananas after Wash tied it up. Was happy when they won in OT, but was hoping for reg.)

Bruins looked very beatable by the Sens that I remember from 5-6 games ago and before. I hope Karlsson does some (nay, a lot) of damage. And then retires his good play for the season.

The Leafs look bad...

... but ONLY when we get the goaltending.

Leafs.

With Budaj in nets.

Price will understand.

Yes, but I was also referring to the number of Habs fans that decend upon Scotiabank Place when the Habs are in town.

I pick Ottawa only if during the Bruins-Leafs series we can play the Benny Hill theme song instead of game coverage. An apt song for two clown shows running each other into the ground.
