Hamilton is tougher. If Julien is using Seids with Chara then I thin Dougie is the odd rightie out, because Julien will want the veteran in Mcquaid, but I would sit Mcquaid and play Dougie with Redden on the third pairing.

I think Dougie is the best defenseman on the pp but Julien and Ward don't seem all that willing to give him those minutes lately in the games he has played.
I`m not convinced Karlsson could fix what`s ailed this PP since Savvy`s last game

On topic, both play, I find there is far less "risk" if you can call it that playing Soderberg over a Horton if it were to come to that, and DH can be insulated much like Kaberle was

I'd play both as well. Peverly out, and McQuiad out. Both have struggled. Horton can and will score he has been clutch in the past and its not worth sitting him out for Pevs-10 and high glass shots.

Hamilton he needs to play. needs to! Our pp needs him out there. He can move the puck better than anyone on this team. We need him or we will lose.

Both should be starting. It would be idiotic not to play them. Hamilton is our most skilled offensive d-man. We need him for any chance at actually seeing an improvement in our joke a of a pp. Soderberg has shown some promise, and while Thornton is one of our leaders, we need all the offensive help we can get.

I can't see Soderberg sitting. He's gotten more comfortable every game and hasn't been a liability like Peverly has been lately. I also think that Redden has been far better than they expected him to be and it's directly effected dougie's minutes. Everyone seems to be mentioning sitting Thornton. The merlot line has been the only one that has consistently "brought it" all season long. With our third line now taking up space on milk cartons, I don't see Twhornton taking a seat for too many games

This is what it should be. But considering they haven't even played a single regulation game with those lines, I sincerely doubt it.

But the Bruins are still lacking in the goal scoring dept.. That creates 3 scoring lines and an extremely fast 4th line that can absolutely create havok, draw penalties and even score.

I'm sad that we won't see it

This is close to what I would do. Not sure I can have Redden in there in the playoffs though...he is just so slow.

Forwards I totally agree. Thornton has not gotten it done this year and while usually you want physical players in the lineup he is just not providing enough of a presence. Then again an argument can be made against Pevs as well.

If nothing else, Dougie Hamilton has to be in the lineup.

But he won't be.

Well the good thing is none of the regular season matters now. Was a pretty epic choke to not win the division with how Montreal finished. Leafs aren't that good fortunately, give up scoring chances like free candy but I'm worried about finishing on Riemer.

We can't beat playoff teams. Hoping, but not expecting.

You went from, "we can beat anyone in the East" to "one and done" in the span of one month.

Bruins are playing like pure crap right now. I honestly would welcome a coaching change - hopefully Chia has the balls to fire Clode.

We should be able to handle the Leafs, but if we don't I have to say Claude is gone.
