Line-ups updated, and as a remainder keep the discussions civil.

Have not seen the Americans play. So... Do we have a chance?

It's gonna be interesting. USA has kinda grown into this tournament, and they're at their best when the games matter.

Canada's talent on the other hand is unmatched I feel. No team has had an answer for McDavid so far. However their goaltending hasn't been tested at all due to their dominance.

It could very well come down to special teams.

I give 60/40 edge to Canada.

This listed as the 2nd forward line in the thread starter lineup, but i'd expect those to be some kind of extras... McKeown is actually a D, and despite Dickinson and Ritchie's injuries I'd expect only Verhaeghe to get significan icetime in this game.

I can only pass along the official line-up they submit. McKeown only saw a handful of minutes in the semifinal from that same spot. It's extremely possible the 4th will be the 2nd and the 2nd is the 4th once the game starts.

Keaton Thompson should have been benched awhile ago. Granato keeps letting him hurt his team.

Nice goal by Dauphin, but he was completely untouched on his way to the net. Soft play by Butcher.

Nice piece on McDavid on TSN. Sounds like a nice (Canadian) kid.

That was soft as hell. Tied.

Also the russian reporter that interviewed a Canadian player after the 1st sounded like Borat.

The Canadians do look very talented... as individuals. Would have been nice to see this team gel over time.
