OT GDT: Ottawa vs Boston, 7pm

Since many will follow this game today, we may as well have a GDT.

Go Sens Go

Feel's weird cheering for a team that you'll hate to death in a couple of days if they win today.

Go sens go, hope they win 1-0, so they don't get too much momentum vs us.

Have to go with the Sens. Would rather face the Leafs, but 2nd seed puts us away from the Pens until the 3rd round.

Habs playing on Thursday rather than Tuesday annoys me. As for who we play, I'm kind of indifferent. Go Habs.

I have mixed feelings about that.

I would want the Bruins to win just to get better draft selections than them.

But having them finishing behind us would be so great. Maybe their fans would shut up for once. And they would face our other "favourite" team , the Leafs.

A good 5 day rest might be welcomed by our bruised players, and that will give them some time to practice their special units.

We'll draft 30th, regardless of our regular season standings.

Prust, Markov, Plekanec and Ryder could definitely use the rest.

This. Who cares, they don't hand out the Stanley Cup for being at the top of the North East. I'll be happy with this team's performance regardless of what happens though. This entire season has been a pleasant surprise for me.

But it could also mean a back-to-back later in this series...be careful what you wish for.

Lets go Sens!

Anderson is better than Reimer, but if we win round #1, I'd rather be safe from Pittsburgh till round 3. More of a chance Pittsburgh gets upset and we stay clear of them.

I see Ottawa and Toronto both as worthy opponents. I think Toronto is a slightly better team with a solid goaltender, where-as I see Ottawa as a slightly worse team with a great goaltender. Both are good teams.

But the division, safety from Pittsburgh, and home-ice makes me want 2nd more.

I also don't want to play Toronto because if we did happen to lose, I live in Ontario by nothing but Maple Leaf fans and I'd never hear the end of it, even if the Leafs got swept in round 2.

I hope the Sens win. Not because I like them or I really want to play them in the 1st round but I am thinking home ice advantage is BIG and if we manage to have it at least twice that would be HUUUUGE

so Go Sens Go

I don't really care who we end up playing...

Although a Montreal-ottawa series would be a hell of a lot easier to moderate.

And to top it off, seeing boston and toronto rip eachother to shreds would be hilarious.

Welp, go ottawa.

The main plus in facing the sens is that we can put off the Pens until the ECF (if we make it there)

The higher seed is simply better. It's two rounds of guaranteed home ice instead of one. It's avoiding Pittsburgh in round two. It's a little less of a media circus playing the Sens than the Leafs.

So go Senators!
