Pine is satisfied. Go Sens.

TVA, which shows Sens games quite often, is not airing the game. Neither are TSN, RDS, CBC or any other channel. Looks like a stream will be required.

Wasn't TSN suppose to air this game originally ?

Gotta broadcast a low budget Gordie Howe movie.

It's supposed to be on TVA-Sports and Sportsnet East.

The one thing i fear about facing the Sens is this guy

Because if he gets hot in the POs whoever faces him is gonna have a huge problem on their hands. He could Halak us or any other team. I'm not too worried about the rest of the team but Anderson is just a pain to play against when he's on his game.

Lehner has done well against Boston in the past, I believe, and almost always gets Boston games. This isn't a sign they're throwing the game - Lehner can play quite well.

I'm not sure what I want now. Habs/Ottawa would be bittersweet as a series because I like both teams. Habs vs. Leafs would be annoying as hell if the Habs didn't win hard, Leafs Bruins would be an intense series that I probably wouldn't watch that much, and Ottawa-Pittsburgh would be very frustrating to watch unless Ottawa can pull off the upset. I can't cheer for a non-habs team over the Sens though, especially Boston, so Go Sens Go anyways.

The outcome of this game is only relevant because of what was gifted to the Sabres at the end of their game with Montreal on February-07-2013.

If it is true that things even out over any given season, then the hockey gods have no reason to be siding with the Bruins tonight.

Apparently Michalek's not playing tonight either?

Some folks in the Ottawa GDT are saying Mendes suggested it fwiw.

Latendresse should take his place on the first/second line.

Source? Mendes has no tweets suggesting that. Only that Michalek might sit.

BTW, Michel Langevin and our old buddy Yvon Pedneault do the Sens games on TVA Sports.

So the Sens are starting their back up goalie, sitting out Karlsson, Alfie and possibly Michalek? I guess the Sens want to finish 8th and play the Pens in round 1 instead of the Habs. I figured they'd go all out tonight to avoid the Pens in round 1 but I guess not.

Paul Maclean did suggest they might rest a few key players now that they've clinched but getting rid of Alfie, Karlsson, and Michalek seems a bit excessive. That said, Karlsson just came back and Michalek might not be 100%, and Alfie's looked a bit tired of late, so who knows. It's not like the team isn't used to playing with a ton of guys missing.

There's zero proof they are resting Karlsson or Alfie.

Yeah I just went through the Sens GDT and nothing about Karlsson or Alfie not playing there.

Tonight's game will be the Sens 3rd game in 4 days and the Bruins 6th game in 9 days.

Wouldn't they want Karlsson in so that he can get into a rhythm before the playoffs start?
