Did Bennett make the clear-day roster? I forget.

Not that I hope we get eliminated or anything, just curious.

He was sent down around the deadline so he may well have. Don't know for sure.

Bombulie would know better than me. That is some good news. Now Ottawa can be eliminated.

Doesn't look like there's any streams as the guy who hosts them on Ustream is in Hospital until Wednesday.

Brian Gibbons gives WBS the lead. Assist from Brian Dumoulin and Nesbitt.

2-0. Chad Kolarik.

2-1 Just before the end of the 1st.

Kolarik was such a huge acquisition for the Baby Pens.

Especially considering how terrible Ferriero is.

Yeah, that trade worked out great. Go Baby Pens! Wish I could be there.

P.S. Zen, I found Cherry Knowle at my local record store yesterday. Great stuff. Now why is Mush so hard to find?

I guess it went out of print and they never bothered to re-press it. I think Roughneck Records, the label it was put out by was basically their own label.

I'm pretty surprised there hasn't been some kind of re-issue by now, really.

There are a few used copies floating around, which is how I got mine, and I've seen new copies going for $100+.

The misplay by Samelsson on the 2nd goal was brutal. Watching the highlights, at first I thought it was going to be a clip of a forward entering the offensive zone but alas...

That one deserved a -3 or something.

Sens board has a highlight package of Sens plays, go to :49 mark to see it in it's glory.

Dude, you need to seriously relax. Samuelsson was making a perfectly fine play and then the puck rolled and bobble off & over his stick. That is pure bad luck, like a puck going off a stanchion and taking an odd bounce to an opposing forward or going right into an open net. I saw some of the game. Samuelsson looked pretty solid. I've seen those type of plays happen to Nik Lidstrom. It happens, get over it.

Lol, I wanted to post the same. I guess the baby sens won 2-0 and had something like a 40-0 hit advantage, right?

I'm with jmelm. Samuelsson was trying to go D-to-D under pressure and the puck hopped on him. No biggie.

Wathed the higlights on the AHL site. Kolarik has a wicked shot, really fast and accurate release.

Nice to see McNeil playing on the 3rd pairing. He didn't play immediately upon the call-up from Wheeling but once he got in a game near the end of the season, he seems to have won a regular spot.

Haven't seen enough of him to make any comments regarding his play, but better him than Cody Wild.

EDIT: Listening to the game while washing car, sounds like Dumoulin and Zatkoff playing well in particular. First goal was scored by Holzapfel off a Thompson rebound on the second part of a 4 minute pp. Second assist to Gibbons. Just as I type this, Pumepel scores as it sounds like he was able to receieve a Stone pass and make Samuelsson miss on a check at the blueline to get a clear entry.

The 2nd goal by Collins was super soff. Just a wrister from about 40 ft that Lawson would of stopped as a 12-year old according to Grace. 3rd goal by Peters was of the scrum in front of the net variety with less than 2 seconds left in the period.

3-1 2nd INT

Dumoulin & Reese both +2 with an assist and sounds like they've been out there a ton so far. Zatkoff has stopped 22 of 23. Only 4 PIM's so far from Farnham, though if WBS gets ahead 4-1, I have little doubt he'll end up with a game misconduct at some point in the 3rd.

I went back and watched some of the games, and he's been all over Lawson, and I mean literally.

One of the plays he got pushed on top of him and he just casually laid there on Lawson's back like he was resting on the couch.

Pens rally for three in the third to win Game 3 by a 3-2 score and sweep the shorthanded B-Sens.

Sill (shorthanded), Holzapfel (power play) and Megna (empty net) with the goals.

Looks like WBS won a game that featured a crazy finish, with 3 goals in the final 1:18. Holzapfel a pp goal with a 1:18 left to put WBS up 2-1, Megna followed up with an empty-netter, then Binghamton scored with less than 10 seconds left to make it 3-2.

All three games were 3-2 finals. More importantly, Zatkoff missed the game, hopefully it's not something serious or I have a hard time seeing WBS making it through the next round. Likely to play to Syracuse next round, essentially the defending champs, though under a different name as Tampa switched their affiliation from Norfolk to Syracuse in the off-season.
