That sounds more like the NBA playoffs. In the NHL, teams are reseeded after the first round based on their rank in the standings, and round 2 is a 1v4 and 2v3 matchup.

Unless I'm completely off my rocker tonight (like every other night)? Someone else want to shed some light on this?
