Lucic vs Neil

Great effort by both guys. Just one of their many fights. Looks like Lucic was trying to get away from it but Neil kept pushing and finally threw off his gloves. Im gonna call this a draw.

He did well against Neil who's probably the best.

Looked like a draw to me.

Lucic was at the end of a shift and Neil just started his and Lucic still won. Nice ******** move by Neil. Lucic thought the fight was over and Neil got back up throwing at him.

**** the code Looch should have unloaded on him when he was on the ice.

Not sure what fight you are watching but I dont see a clear win by Lucic there...not at all actually. And whats the problem with Neil wanting to get up and continue the fighting? I dont get it.

Lol maybe you can write an email and ask the coaches to make sure they start their shifts simultaneously ........

Good fight though. Draw and slight edge to lucic in my books.

Exactly.

And yes Looch looked tired as he should at the end of a shift.

Agree he won it though

You act like Lucic was handicapped. Look at the height difference.

Lucic clearly stopped after Neil hit the ice. This is where I hate "the code" a little. If Lucic kept hitting him, clear win Lucic, but since he was respectful of "the code" Neil gets up and keeps throwing. Narrow win Lucic.

Neil wishes he were Lucic. Stop with the height crap, Neil wanted the fight, not Lucic.

Nonsense! If Lucic didn't want the fight, he wouldn't have dropped the gloves.

Of course he did, but it take two to fight. If Lucic didn't want to fight because he was at the end of his shift or w/e, he didn't have to drop the gloves.

Lucic was trying to steamroll everyone in sight - after the fight he was a kitty cat.

That fight was a pretty solid draw IMO.

I didn't say he wasn't willing, but Neil asked to fight and Lucic said ok. Lucic wasn't the one looking for it.

Kitty cat made some nice plays, one to set up the game tying goal.

Solid draw, although you can argue an edge either way.

Lucic wins the fight despite being obviously tired, the same trick that Neil did when he took on Orr, Neil is very sly that way.

Actually looks like Lucic wanted nothing to do with it. Neil had him pinned to the boards and was clearly asking him to go. Lucic doesnt oblige and keeps his gloves on and skates backwards..Neil continues on him and then just throws off his gloves since it looked like Lucic wasnt interested

That's because Lucic was gassed. Last game between these teams when the game was tied in the 3rd Lucic was pratically begging Neil to fight, Neil wouldn't, I suspect in large part because Lucic wasn't at the end of a shift.

I'm not saying there's no advantage if this is indeed what happened, but why bother making excuses? Just analyze the fight, no need for this other crap.

Yeah lets not make excuses here. Its ridiculous. We both know Lucic and Neil are not afraid of each other. Lucic hasnt been playing with very much heart this season so maybe he just wasnt interested. Plus Im sure he knows Neil is a tough boy so if he went with him he knew there was going to be a battle.

Ive seen lucic gassed before and fight weaker opponents no problem but this all comes back to where I think Lucic tries to pick his spots and avoid tougher guys. Whatever though - they both fought and it was a good scrap

Edge Neil, Looch was gassed and looking at the zebras for a good few seconds before they got split up.
