NHL playoff experience

JT - 0 games
Moulson - 0 games
Boyes - 11 games
Okposo - 0 games
Nielsen - 0 games
Bailey - 0 games
McDonald - 0 games
Aucoin - 14 games
Grabner - 9 games
Martin - 0 games
Cizikas - 0 games
Jonessu - 0 games
Ullstrom - 0 games
Reasoner - 23 games
Boulton - 4 games

Streit - 12 games
Strait - 3 games
Hickey - 0 games
Lubo - 18 games
MacDonald - 0 games
Hamonic - 0 games
Martinek - 9 games
Finley - 0 games
Carkner - 10 games

Nabokov - 80 games
Poulin - 0 games

I think that adds up a 183 games with Nabby taking up a good 40% of that number. Both the Bruins and Pens have played a lot of playoff (together no less).

I think no matter what happens, playing some NHL playoff games will be a great experience for the our core, who almost without exception, have not played any playoff hockey. Its a different beast.

Although our skaters dont have much experience. im glad that at least our goalie has been through the rigors of the playoffs. i think his experience can be really beneficial to the rest of the team.

Agreed. If you want 1 player with a lot of playoff experience-you want it to be your goaltender.

Coming in, I wasn't expecting much from this team. I was actually expecting the playoffs next season. But I feel like this season does wonders for the future. Regardless of the outcome, this season shows the core and coaching staff what to expect in the future. Hopefully in the offseason, we snag a vet or 2 and get Donovan up. This'll be a good experience for the boys, especially for the kids who were recently called up.

I think the past 5/6 weeks were very important for our guys. It should give them confidence going in to face the Pens. They were playing some pretty BIG games in the stretch run and while it's technically not the playoffs some of those games had playoff like intensity. We may not be the most talented team in the playoffs but we have proven this year we can win when we want to. Now the question is, do they want it?
