Nice win on NBC today. Love the voice of NBC's commentator Arlo White.

Nice to see that Di Vaio continues to be the leader this franchise needed.

Lol Wrong thread

Eit : Oh well, might as well use the post for somtething relevant.

I liked Lefevre today. A bit shaky defensively but I like his ball distribution.

I dont understand how we have teams with 6 GP and trams with 10 GP. MLS does a very poor job with scheduling.

Just finished watching the game. Wooooooooooooo! Paponi is amazing! Di Vaio is on fire! Johnson is a piece of ****!

That is all.

Oh and I also loved it when Arnaud stepped in to defend Di Vaio.

Not sure what to do for next game against Toronto. We have a difficult game on saturday against SJ.

I'd go with this: Bush, Brovsky, Lefevre, Camara, Tissot, Romero, Felipe, Bernier, Mapp, Paponi, Wenger

Great game, missed the first half though.

To my knowledge, the 02 boycott the Ole song. While its originally a soccer song they see it as a hockey thing and don't want to be associated with the Habs in that way.

Paponi was really great. Fell off a bit at the end, probably due to conditioning but overall great pickup.

Im no expert but are we trying to imitate Barcelona? I swear we pass the ball WAY too much. It goes.

Barcelona pass quickly and progress forward when they pass. We don't. So not really. Plus Barcas midfield trio hold on to the ball, us it seems to just be our defenders

Man Crush on Arlo White's voice.

We should acquired De Rosario, he’s said that he wants to finish playing in his native Canada and no wady he is returning to TFC. So far for DC, he has been underperforming plus he is what we are missing, a proper CAM.

Along with last July game against NYRB, yesterday's game was the best I've ever attended. Great game and good atmosphere.

Brovsky played is best game in an Impact uniform and I liked what I saw from Iapichino and Lefèvre. Oh and Paponi played an AMAZING game! If he can play like that consistently, he'll be a star in this league. He was winning long ball, distributing the ball beautifully and getting open. He should have scored, the goalie simply made an amazing save.

Hopefully we dress a good squad on Wednesday, but I doubt it. We have a trip across the continent for the Saturday game, I expect most starters to rest

Though he was good defensively in the first half. He cut a few actions short. I noticed him for good things more than for bad things. Maybe I liked him because my expectations for him are very low. Thought he and Brovsky brought a few things offensively.

With Maximo Rodriguez on board, I wouldn't be as as mad if we traded Felipe for De Ro. De Rosari would bring a whole new dymension on the axe. We'd be clear cut favorites to win the whole thing.

De Ro is a DP though. Which means 300k cap space, something we don't seem to have. I'd just be patient with Felipe.

MLS salary info should be published by the union in the next couple weeks.

It should give us an idea of what these new guys are worth.

Before the season NDS was talking about looking for a DP for the summer. I wonder if Paponi is that person, or if they are still looking.

We can be sure that paponi is not making DP money, since that info is made public. If so is this team good enough to compete as it is? I really can't say

De Rosario is 34 yrs old. That's too old. We already have an old team. I dont mind to flip Felipe for a DP but not De Rosario. I'd like to have a proven south american in his prime.

I think we're going to play 4-4-2 at home and 4-1-4-1 away. If we still have injuries on defense I wouldnt mind trying Wenger there.

Brovsky did a great job supporting his wing.

Good to see Rivas and Ferrari back practicing:

Hopefully they're not too far away from returning.

Rivas won't be ready for another 2-3 weeks IMO. He is just getting back on the field with the team, he obviously isn't in game shape. As for Ferrari, the sooner, the better. Hopefully he plays on Wednesday, but I bet we won't see him until next Wednesday against NYRB. Nesta should also sit until then, I think.
