This 28 y old guy is on the list of the 54 players at the habs camp starting tomorrow. Anybody ever saw him play. What does he bring to the table ?

Wow, is he really coming to Canadiens camp?

I've followed him, since he is East-Indian, and it would have been nice to see him become a full-time palyer. He played for the Blackhawks affiliate for several years, and I think he was called up at some point last year. He is a career minor leaguer, but is a good leader as he was a captain at some point in the AHL. I'm surprised actually that he is at the camp.

There are some guys in my class who claimed to have gone to some dinners in Calgary where he was a guest. Great guy by all accounts, and major props to him for getting as far as he did (even if he doesn't make the NHL).

I'd love to see a fellow east-indian in the game. The last and only one that I know of was Robin Bawa from Duncan, BC. Use to play for the Sharks a bit.

What about Manny Malhotra? He's a halfer, but it still counts!

Bawa played for the canucks as well. He was an enforcer and the pioneer of east indians in the NHL

Went through a ton of racism in junior. He has a neat story.

Our new Goal Song:

Max Power,
he's the man who's name you'd love to touch!
But you mustn't touch!
His name sounds good in your ear,
but when you say it, you mustn't fear!
'Cause his name can be said by anyone!
