So yeah. Chris Neil. First thing that came to my mind when I opened RDS and learned we'd face the Sens. He will become public enemy #1 in Montéal soon.

Expect a split on back to back, so there goes our home ice advantage. Luckily we play Ottawa, which mean all games will be at home.

Just purchased tickets for Game 6 in Ottawa with a buddy of mine (Sens fan) REALLY pumped about it. I cant see this series not going at least 6.

Looks like the only game I'll be missing is Game 2 (work )

Was nervous and thought I'd miss Game 1 (Tuesday), so I'm happy with the schedule.

No disrespect to Marie-Mai, but I don't know why she needs 3 shows at the Bell Centre in the first place.

Both teams better get their practice time in before the series begins. There's virtually no time to practice during the series, with the two back to backs and games every second day.

This should be a low scoring series so we are going to need the D to be smart and Price to be on his game.

We have an edge in goaltending.
Scoring/depth is in our advantage.
D is a slight edge to us.
Ottawa beats us clean in the grit/coaching department though.

And I only see our edge in the scoring/depth category. Ottawa has an edge on goaltending. I prefer their D. And their grit.

So for all those reasons, I easily choose....the Habs to win it. 'Cause in the end, talent will prevail and our depth up front will make up for the rest. But Price needs to step it up. If he doesn't, we're done.

in a normal situation, Habs home game would have been tuesday and thursday so Marie-Mai on friday, saturday, sunday is no problem

put in a bombing in Boston that re-schedule a game on april 28th, give an extra day of rest to the two teams stuck in this situation, give CBC the right to show Montreal and Toronto, Have Rihanna in Montreal on wednesday and you've got that situation no Marie-Mai or bookers fault, more two bombers in Boston and the CBC

I don't know if somebody did this already but I'm too lazy to check the whole thread.

We've played the Sens 4 times this year

Januray, 30th : MTL-1 OTT-5 ( http://video.canadiens.nhl.com/video...=OTT33&lang=en )
February, 3rd : MTL-2 OTT-1 ( http://video.canadiens.nhl.com/video...=MTL59&lang=en )
February, 25th : MTL-1 OTT-2 (SO) ( http://video.canadiens.nhl.com/video...OTT292&lang=en )
March 13th : MTL-4 OTT-3 (SO) ( http://video.canadiens.nhl.com/video...=MTL86&lang=en )

So they've outscored us 10-7 (not counting the shoot-out).

Our best scorers against them : Markov (1G-2A), Subban (1G-2A), Pacioretty (3A)

Budaj played 1 game, gave up 5 goals on 27 shots (0.815 SV%)
Price played the other 3, gave up 5 goals on shots (0.944 SV%)!!!

For them :

Anderson played 2 games, gave up 3 goals on 64 shots (0.953 SV%) *****!
Lehner played one and gave up 3 goals on 45 shots (0.933 SV%)
and Bishop gave only 1 goal on 45 shots but who cares...

I think the Habs were given a lousy first round playing schedule.

You can throw out game 1 when they blew us out. No Subban or Pacioretty. Budaj was also shaky.

That was back when everyone (including myself) were not on the Budaj Bandwagon. Hell, we didn't know there could be one

Yes about scoring depth, but Karlsson and Michalek are back
D is about the same. They are bigger, though.
Grit yes. Coaching,slightly.
