Yeah I could see Suter winning. Both are good choices and deserving. I wouldn't even be shocked if Lundqvist edges Bob for the Vizena.

I don't see why there should be an age limit on the Calder trophy. A rookie is a rookie.

They changed the eligibility rules in 1991. The player must be 26 or younger by September 15th of their rookie season.

He was the main reason why they did this. Although he was a rookie in the NHL, he played professionally for many years in Russia prior to that.

I feel like MTL-OTT should be good. BOS-TOR is pretty interesting. Kessel against his former team.

Your projections look pretty logical. And I love that you have the Bruins beating the Leafs in 5. The weeping and gnashing of teeth out of Toronto would be very enjoyable.

Is it a violation on my part if I choose to support the Islanders? Division rival, however they have sucked pretty much my whole life? I wasn't around in the mid 80s.

I don't think so, particularly not given who they are matched up with.

Nah, underdog team, good likable players. Be careful though, that's what got me on board with the Washington Nationals know when to jump ship!

I was going to do the same. Then saw their playoff avatars and reconsidered.

It's fine because they are going up against a bigger rival. And really, there isn't much of a rivalry between the Flyers and Isles.

I'm pulling for them too. I can't think of any player I don't like on their team.

Shouldn't Crosby win the Hart by a landslide? He nearly has the lead in points despite playing 12 fewer games than his closest competitors. Also, he's gotten his Kunitz and Dupuis to produce great offense. It's extraordinary really.

It's the player who is most valuable to his team. If he didn't get hurt, I think Crosby would be the the favorite to win it, but Ovechkin showed how important he is to the Caps when he gets hot.

And even if Crosby did win it, it wouldn't be a landslide. Ovi and Bob would both get serious consideration.
