Hemlock Grove

Anybody else watch this?

I'm half way through the first episode and I'm not sure what to think.

Going to check it out at some point. I didn't really enjoy "The Killing" on AMC, and I fear this show is probably a bit similar.

Not in the slightest. That's kind of what I was expecting..

Not what I got.

I wish they'd made another one like House of Cards or maybe a detective series like Sherlock or Poirot....this one seems like something on CW.

It's really just weird. It's directed by Eli Roth if that tells you anything.

The pilot was terrible.

Was filmed at my school though. Always cool to pick out places you spend lots of time at on the screen.

The only thing I know about this show is the hand coming out of the wolf's mouth on Netflix.

EDIT: I said I really liked this show almost two years ago? Okay then. It's watchable. But it isn't great.

I can't figure out if this is supposed to be a spoof or meant to be taken seriously.

I just finished the season. I actually liked it. I have never liked such a ****ed up show before. It was really weird. The one thing that bothered me a little was sometimes Roman's Swedish accent would show though a bit.

I completely understand why someone wouldn't like the show though. It was just odd. But I would recommend it, and will watch if there is a 2nd season.

I liked the gore, still wish it was directed by someone else. I thought they tried to fit way too much into the finale.

Netflix has decided to end their first original series. Hemlock Grove has been renewed for a third and final season of 10 episodes.

After how bad the 2nd season was compared to the 1st one, adding the awful Miranda character really made it feel like the standard fantasy tween crap, I'm not sad to see this ending.

I watched about 7 episodes of the first season. Most of the characters annoyed me, so that doesn't help.

It just got too "out there" for me, and more random. I no longer cared about questions they were trying to answer, so I never came back to it.

Nice I went to western tech as well. Has anyone been watching the second season? I'm almost finished after starting yesterday. I actually quite like this show.

I gave it a chance. It had potential but the writing and acting is bad.
Famke's British accent could give you hemorrhoids
