This is something the Preds can win without having to score goals???

...they just might have a chance!

Who are the preds sending as their rep? It will be weird if it's Poile - we're too good to send him there.

So, it looks like it's on NBCSN at 8 (EST) and goes an hour. The drama usually starts about 15 mins or so before the end. Re-air on NHL Network at 9.

Poile is going to the lottery.

If I had any faith that Poile would trade down, I would be hoping for a lottery win here...it would just sting to finally get a substantially high pick...and come away with a defenseman.

I know what you mean. And I hope he would trade down. But A Weber-Josi Klein-Jones top two pair doesn't make me want to rip out ALL of my hair.

Still crossing everything for either Mac, Drouin, or Barkov.

It's time for some good luck. Enough of the bad.

There is no way Poile passes up on Jones if he gets a chance.

Something Trotz has rarely done throughout the years I have seen him coach is pair two leftys or two rightys together on D. We have Weber and Klein locked up long term so it would make little to no sense to take on Jones unless the plan was to trade away one of the two you already have. We all know Weber isn't going anywhere and I personally do not want to see Klein go anywhere. We need a forward in this draft period. If we win the 1st pick and can't trade out of it then pick Mack and enjoy.

I hope we have to worry about Poile choosing between Jones/Mac/Drouin.

If I had a pair of lucky socks or underwear or anything like that, I would be wearing them right now.

It Feels Kind of Weird seeing The Predators in the lottery draft,If it weren't for the lockout we would probaly be in the playoffs instead of in the lottery draft.

If they end up with another 1st overall, I may literally puke.

If the Oilers win there is something seriously rigged with the Lottery.
They have had their chances. 2-4 is plenty good and I think should give us an impact player as soon as this coming season, perhaps. Depends on which one as some are projected as more ready than others.

Look at it like this: If we win, whatever pair you are wearing now will officially be your luck underwear/socks going forward. Now you have even more riding on the outcome.

We aren't gonna win. 3 teams ahead of us. We will have 4th or 5th unless we trade up

The worst part about Edmonton ending up with another #1 is that, knowing Edmonton, they would probably still suck!

They showed the 5 GMs in the background, and Poile looks so uncomfortable.

The ball that would win it for the Preds will clank off the pipe.
