Not comparing them, but obviously an extreme example. One of Ryan's no hitters he allowed 8 walks. How does that even count?

In 220+ CGs, only 4 of them had 0 BBs.

Honestly, I just meant to type "one of the greatest ever," but it created a fun little debate.

Baez starting to heat up with the bat but man, he just can't field. 10 errors already this year.

That's what happens when you try to stretch a guy's range. His strengths play well at 3rd.

Hinrich will miss game 5, could possibly miss rest of series.

Typical Bulls injury luck. Exactly the break Brooklyn needs.

Hopefully they'll be reeling after the Game 4 chokejob and give this game away anyway.

Probably playing too many minutes while never being fully healed, like almost everyone on that team.

This is where you'd like to see Rose nut-up and come back.

I really just want to say **** that, he had his chance. I guess it would be sort of epic if he came back, but honestly he (well mostly his moron brother) have really hung the team out to dry.

I'm not surprised it happened after his season ended and before he became a FA.

He has to know that teams will not sign him now.

My theory for the last little while is for the team to prove they are "good" enough by winning a playoff series without him in the lineup before he returns.

Bad calf bruise. He's in a walking boot.

Apparently he played through it for the vast majority of Game 4 (suffered the injury early).

I'd like to see Nate come off the bench tonight still.

Starters:

Butler
Deng
Marco
Boozer
JoNo

Bring Nate off the bench and if he proves he can stay out of foul trouble, take Marco out of the rotation and keep Deng and Butler in most of the game. I'll pass on Nate starting and Marquis Teague coming in.

They'll start Nate and use Belinelli as the backup PG (which he hasn't been very good at, but there's not another option). We won't be seeing Teague.

Not sure who will guard who. Butler was the one who shut down Williams during the overtimes, but if you put him on Williams and Deng on JJ that leaves Robinson to cover Wallace.
Well, he did okay at it in overtime. Maybe...?
It sounds ridiculous to put a guy that small on Gerald Wallace, but...

If he comes back, I'll think very little of him. He's been cleared to play all this time, and all of a sudden is good to go once he gets far enough that it's "worth his time". That's how I'd view it. I'd picture him thinking "thanks for playing through all your injuries and getting me this far guys, I'll take it from here".

He's going to come back when he feels confident in his body. You shouldn't think less of him whether that's tonight (it's not), Game 1 of the Miami series (assuming they advance), or next season. Confidence is confidence. All these other circumstances people keep bringing up are irrelevant.

And I really hope that's next year. I'll be extremely disappointed if he's back this year.

Why? It may encourage a team to sign him

Really? I'd be excited if he came back during these playoffs. But at the end of the day, as long as you aren't one of those "fans" who have turned on Rose like spoiled, fickle little children, I have no problem with ya.
