Yeah, I probably will edit that later today when I see a lineup for them.

Good Luck Guys in the playoffs !!!...

My older son is a big Red Wings fan (thanks to leafs 9 years playoffs absance, kids like winnners). He will be wearing his favourite #13 jersey when watching games. I'll be cheering for you too I will try to take him next year to see Sens - Wings tilt here in Ottawa.

Hopefully we can meet in the final

GO WINGS GO !!!

icing datsyuk with garbage looked strange to me. but watching the stats of anaheim opened my eys.
surray is the only defender with positive +/- rating. maybe i missed one other there.
surray will play vs datsyuk line for sure. so ice datsyuk with the most garbage player you can find on the roster and ice it vs. anaheims top line will take out the complete first line of anaheim.
so datsyuk is not line 1 he is a bait line. if anaheim is taking the catch our line 2&3 will have easy games vs anaheims other defenders and their minus stats. so just put the scorer on line 2 & 3 and we are fine to ride to the finals in the west.

babcock is brilliant.

thats the way to turn **** into gold.
beauchemin and souray are +19.

MUST WIN.

2-1 Wings.

Z and Mule score.

Selanne scores. Because he always scores against the Wings. Flip needs to neutralize him.

I was thinking about this yesterday. Last year we played pretty poorly the last few weeks of the regular season and were on a down swing. This year just the opposite, we end on an upswing.
Go Wings

Just need a split in Anaheim.

Keys for me:

Datsyuk and/or Z need to show up on the scoresheet
No bad goals from Howard
If Franzen scores, I think we win
No stupid cross ice passes from the D

I'm pretty confident about this series. Not good. I was pretty confident about beating San Jose 2 and 3 seasons ago as well.

I know they are a good team and coached well, but man Anaheim's roster doesn't scare me at all.

I think it's the underdog factor. We're coming off a great week, and actually have a shot at beating a 2 seed. Plus it's the Ducks, and who knows when Detroit/Anaheim will meet in the playoffs again...

A split would be great, 2 wins would be spectacular. Get 'em Wings.

I think both teams are pretty even except for special teams. Wings are obviously not as good there as in previous years. Wings in 6

Yeah, there's a real wildcard factor to this team, I believe.

They all seem to be playing with more purpose and the defense is completely renovated with young puck movers.

I think Anaheim was the best case matchup for Detroit. Hopefully Datsyuk and Z can keep willing this team to wins and they can keep this momentum going. Go Wings go

Too late/(or early) game start for me, westcoast game SUCKS, won't be able to watch it live. Would any americans watch games that started at 4:30am?

I think Ducks take this first game, hope I'm wrong though

I would just go to bed early, and wake up at 5/5:30 to watch most of it. Then depending on what I'm doing that day, go back to bed

Maybe I'm over confident, but I feel like we're going to slaughter the Ducks. I am not worried at all. Wings in 5 or 6.

Hoping for a strong game tonight... continue the hottness from the last 4.

Yep if Mule and Filppula show up this series the Wings should take it.

What a perfect time it would be for Filppula to show up too. Him and Mule are definitely our X factor. Having two top lines producing, AND a crazy skilled third line, AND Howie playing well... that's scary stuff.

With some chanting, some praying, and the invocation of the magical powers that only boatloads of coffee can produce, this kind of scheme is just crazy enough that it might actually work. It has to; I'm counting on it.

This is also why we can't lose this game. You hear that, Z? I'm expecting a hat-trick from you. *Babcock death-stare activate*
